Problems with WordPress Possibly Gutentor - Any Ideas!
So earlier I was with my Niece and Nephew in PC world waiting for my sister. I had a bit a realization whilst using the PCs in there that one of my websites looked great but my other 2 did not. So made a plan to fix this - I would find out what I did with my good website and copy the settings over to my other 2.

Whilst doing this work on my site ibusinesstoday.com I decided I needed to fix a couple of other problems. For instance my individual blog posts where showing all my older posts below. I thought I better sort this out and I did but...
Whilst doing so MY FIRST ISSUE come up
So at the end of my blog posts on all my websites I like to share a related or recent posts block. It's the post (type) block on gutentor.
It usually looks something like this;
So like 6 posts with I think they are thumbnails I'm not sure but (not sure what I done) but now I can't get this block to display the same.
Each one of these 6 boxes is full size on top of each other and same for every post that I've used this block for.
Like I urge everyone to use the Updraft plugin and to always have a back up ready before you make any changes - I didn't realise this until after but anyhow if anyone knows how to change this back please let me know.
I am using Gutentor and the Astra Plugin

Another ongoing problem is with the spacing between my blocks
I will show you what I mean
So what I've started doing with my blog posts is grouping sections of my text together. Usually every section H2 Headers and the text beneath.
I've found that on my good website I no longer really need to use spacing blocks because this basically does this for me like I will show my other website...
It is actually driving me crazy I asked WA support to update my PHP about 6 weeks ago and now on my website with the problems there is no automatic spacing between my groups / blocks.
Even in block editor its the same no space between blocks. Which actually makes it difficult to add blocks in some places I have to cycle through either up and down from available spaces.
I hope people can understand and all this makes sense but really stressing me out as can not find any solution. Created a thread on reddit as well
Hoping either someone here or on there can tell me what to do.
My own fault for not creating a back up - again I advise people reading this to install the Updraft plugin but yes been feeling good about my progress lately but actually this is driving me totally nuts thinking about it.
Anyone has any suggestion please I would appreciate your input.

SiteSupport should have a backup of your site previously, Alex! Check it out by putting in a ticket with them!

Yes he makes a good point but doesn't really solve my 2nd problem. I GUESS contacting Site Support is a solution but I was thinking as well if I knew how to fix these issues it could be something I could write a blog post about. As tried to solve this on Google and nothing just people there asking how to reducing spacing.
I was always adverse to backing up my own website, Alex. I finally did it with no issues, and I need to to do it aain already too, truth be told!

Cool check out the updraft free plugin. I had and deleted it but saves so much hassle I think with contacting support etc
I think contacting Site Support is best to avoid things getting more complicated.
I hope you get it resolved soon.

All our sites here at WA are automatically backed up daily, Alex. It's one of the best parts about being a part of WA.
Also, in the future, any time you're looking to do some wide scale editing to your site's layout, etc., just ask Site Support to create a staging site for you.
It's basically an exact replica of your site where you can go nuts making changes and it won't affect your live site.
Then, once all your changes are made, you can simply move the staging site over to the live site's url and you're all done.
Something to think about for the next time you do changes like this :)
Thanks Eric this would solve one issue I'm facing but the spacing issue I've had for weeks and I've done a lot of work since. I can't revert these changes without downgrading the PHP of my site I thought there must be a way in my settings to fix this I guess I could reach out to them but thought I would see here first

I personally would change my theme if Site Support cannot fix the problem. Most likely the problem is the theme you are working with. Just a thought...
Yes that's something to consider I think but just waiting on some help from elsewhere at the moment. I got this theme and a number of premium plugins as a partner of a program called MyOnline Start Up - I have asked their support to try reinstalling the theme to see what happens
