So So Sad - Four Now Become Three
It has been just over a year now since Timmy's tragic accident which was a great shock to all fans of the Overtones.
However, after taking some time to grieve together and get themselves together, the guys released their 6th Album and did their tour between November and December. Although it was a tour with very mixed emotions, it was a great concert and they did well.
So, this morning I was saddened to read that the 4 are now to become 3 and the lovely Lockie with the white t-shirt on my left has tweeted that he has decided to leave the group and go off and enter a new chapter in his life.
I do wish him all the best and hope that he either branches out on his own music wise or whatever he does, it would be nice to see things working out for him.
So, I'm not sure what it will be like to go and see the 3 remaining members and if they will get anyone in to replace Timmy and Lockie. Will just have to wait and see what happens.
So as I said at the top, I am rather sad today after reading this news. However, I wish to say all the best to Mike, Darren and Mark on carrying on the Overtones and good luck for a great future.

I'm sorry about the death of someone you enjoyed and how much or how little they fit into your life. My hysband knows them and I believe he has one of their albums. Check out those memories and pull them out again when you need a boost or just something that brought a smile to your face! Thanks for sharing!

It was sad enough to lose Timmy last year but I never thought for a minute that Lockie would leave although I can understand why so it was such a shock to see the statement from him.
I have been and always will listen to their music and I have my memories of all their concerts plus being able to meet them twice and all my photos and videos I have.

Thank you Mary and I wish him all the best and know that if he branches out alone on the singing part I will support him with whistles and bells on as I just love his voice.
I just hope that the other 3 can get over this and keep going, they must have felt like their world was falling apart. First losing Timmy and then Lockie. I will support them and still listen to their music but not sure how they will sound. xxxx
You are so very welcome it was my pleasure Cheryl and hopefully they can find replacements for the two that they have lost and you never know they may even so better you just never know about these things. And I too wish Lockie the best in his endeavors.
