Friends Helping Friends
Because of some personal things that have happened over the last wee while I had lost my way here in Wealthy Affiliate and stopped doing the things I enjoyed. I lost my sense of humour, my motivation and my get up and go had got up and went somewhere better I think.
I stopped helping people, I stopped interacting with people apart from one or two. Basically I just gave up on it all and I watched my rank fall. That part did not bother me, but the more I wasn't doing what I enjoyed, the harder it was to think of things that I wanted to write about.
Yesterday though I was reading a blog from a very good friend of mine here at Wealthy Affiliate and he made me realise that YES, it is very much time for me to get Refocused again and get my backside back in gear and get back to doing something that I really enjoy.
I know that somethings are still not as they should be in my personal life but I am now ready to put them behind me and close the door on them just now. My future is far more important than my past. I cannot change what has happened, however I can change what will happen with my life from this step on.
So, I want to say a huge thank you to my friend for giving me the kick up the butt that I needed and for writing such a great blog. He will know who he is by the picture below.
Here we are once more at the end of yet another month. The time is passing us by so quickly, although we do still have 4 months in which we can create a lot of things and do a lot with our lives to lets make the very best of the time that is left in 2019 and achieve what we want to do.

Hi Cheryl, it seems that the summer doldrums have had their effect on more of us than just you.
If not the doldrums, then the busyness of summer activities and it seems when vacations and kids going back to school- we tend to think it’s time to get back to work.
So, I’m with you on that. It’s time for me to focus and get back to work as well.

I've been gone from participating, here, at WA, as well!
Summer time, brought conflicts with, "How to spend my time, ...inside or out?"
I gave up on writing and blog activities for gardening and poolside, ... more cleaning and maintaining, than just swimming.
As a retired teacher, my rhythm has been, " Get to work when the school year begins!"
I've allowed myself, this break. I joined WA Oct 2017, in the fall. Technical difficulties, stopped my flow, which has been tough to get back. I'm re-engaging, and have consistently attended Jay's Friday training.
Now, is my time to get my site cooking!

Hi Barb, it is so nice to see you back here again. I did wonder what had happened.
It is so easy to give up and very hard to get back into the swing of things but we will both get there. I know you know who that guy is as he is a great friend to a lot of people here at WA.
So I managed to encourage you to refocus as well as myself by writing this blog.

I can totally relate Cheryl. I too have had some major life events that have thrown me off course. The sudden death of my younger brother a couple of months ago was the icing on the cake and put me in a very sad place. It was so difficult to write anything at all. Luckily we've finally managed to sell our home and will be moving cross country to California where I'll be closer to family.
Moving is never easy but I'm excited about the future.
