Be active and be involved, be a social animal
I've read a fresh blog post from a new friend on WA, which triggered me to write this.
i lost my job 4 years ago because of the organizational restructure of my employer. At my age I thought i need to give up the hope of the next job and started to look around for opportunities on line. Although I was constrained financially but I could manage that by downgrading my living requirements. I didn't have any clue where should I go online. But because I have more time staying home so I become very active on Facebook. I wrote reply and expressed personal opinions on some of the postings from others. I didn't join too many groups but I was "kicked" into quite a number of groups. Out of all my reasonable expectation one day one of my FB friend offered me a decent job. I'm indebted to my boss (this FB friend) who trusted me just on the ground of my FB involvement.
I want to share this in WA community because I think interaction amongst members is very important to the success of WA and every of the stakeholder within it, that is every of us. Personally I haven't earn any income from it yet but I'm sure I'm on the right track. For the newbies, please be involved, devote your time, follow others, write what you think and what you know. Joining is just a first step to open the door to your success.
