Curious. Is there a way to share blog on social media that will include a pic and preview?

That's all folks! When I post the link... That is all that shows. I'd like to share posts from website to my other social media platforms as well.

Thank You Loes! :)

I have been able to add and change the image for Facebook, but not for twitter or google *. I am not sure why. I am running Yoast SEO.

Thanks so much for sharing this info with me. I will definitely have to look into it. :)

May I ask, what is the SEO plugin you're using with your blog? All in One SEO or Yoast?

All in One... That's the one within WA, right?

1

Before, I was also using All in One SEO plugin that comes along with the new blog from WA. But I have observed that, even after I have uploaded a featured image, even if I have already set a featured image in the plugin panel, Facebook and Twitter are still slow to scrape info/image from my site I have to go to debug again the link every time I will post on social media.

It changed when I shifted to Yoast's. :)

Ahhhh, Very nice to know. I used Yoast briefly on another platform because it was included. How much is it? The additional cost is worth it? Even if you are just getting started?

I am using the free version as I see there are only few "add ons" in their premium.

really? thanks so much! I'll check into it tomorrow. I really appreciate your help. :) Thanks Again!

Do you have featured images set within your blog posts?

1

No, Would that solve the problem perhaps? And if I add a Featured can it be the same as the one within the post?

Yes, that will be the one displayed, the Featured Image is post-specific. Use a different one for each post.

2

Thanks Much! I so appreciate your quick response. :) I hope you have a great weekend. :)
