SITE SUPPORT Always Delivers! Thank You Carson & Team!
When your community runs so seamlessly, it can make you complacent. You take things for granted and sometimes, you may even take people for granted.
Wealthy Affiliate (WA) is a well-oiled machine. We may be teenagers but we run better than most of the other wolves out there.
To say that I am happy in our WA community is putting it mildly.
I LOVE our WA community!!!!!
Back-End Hurdles Today
This morning, I logged in early and sat down with my French tea, enjoying our Northern Range and started to work on my content.
Lo and behold, the hurdles started to line up.
I could not update the post I published yesterday. The image was not appearing and there were a few edits to be completed.
Site Kit was also not displaying the Dashboard.
After a few tries, I sent a ticket to Site Support.
PHP Update Resulted In A few Hiccups
Yesterday, Site Support updated the PHP on my website and moved it to a new server. That seemed to have caused a few hiccups this morning.
Try as might, the issues on my end were not getting resolved.
Of course, human nature gets in the way and my anxiousness to get my content edited and published led me to say reverse what we did yesterday.
Site Support Never Gave Up
Unlike me, Carson and his team never threw in the towel.
They kept trying.
Twenty-One (21) messages, loads of screenshots and countless attempts later, they resolved everything!
Site Support stayed with me to the very end.
We are blessed to have the back-end support that we do in WA.
Thank you for all that you do to support us and make us look great!!

This is exactly why I won't leave WA because of its incredible hosting and Site Support. Carson and the team stay on it and resolves issues ASAP. Other hosting platforms have like help desk support to log in issues and they get back to you several days later and weeks to fix it. By contrast, Site Support doesn't leave us hanging. I am glad you are now back on and pushing your content out.
Hey Cassi,
Great to hear that you're all up to date on one of the latest versions of PHP and are back in business with the hiccups you experienced with the site. With all upgrades come unknowns, but it's how we move forward and how we keep our businesses at the cutting edge of technology! Our team is always dedicated to helping folks keep things running smoothly.
Thanks for the shoutout, I'll be sharing this with the team :)

Carson, I wish I was closer to drop in and deliver some fresh fruits or chocolates.
You all deserve both and more.
Again, thank you.
Cassi
I appreciate and know that, Carson. π
It's one of the main reasons we are all here and our community is so amazing.

That's a great recommendation for WA site support. And it's a good subject to highlight in reviewing WA on blogs. Thank you, Cassie, for sharing. I am glad, however, it was you and not me needing to untangle that technical mess.
They have LOTS of excellent recommendations, Donna.
If you ever start an MMO niche, you could focus on Site Support. π

That's awesome, Cassi! Site Support has helped me resolve issues twice in as many weeks! They are the absolute best!

No task is ever a bother, Jeff.
I know that I was ready to call it quits but they made sure it was resolved and my site was safe.

Hi Cassi, nice post. I have been in touch with site support because I had an issue with my website being slow for mobile users. I tried optimizing my images, tried WP Rocket and other plugins, but nothing seems to work. This could be that I am using the wrong theme, who knows. Site support has helped me a lot with other issues, so I do π them for that. I will have to get in touch with them again to see if this can be resolved! Have a great week, take care.
Brian, there is a marked difference in the loading speed of my pages from desktop to mobile.
However, over 80% of my visitors are desktop users.
I will work on that at some point, but not now.
