How LINKEDIN Rewards Your Efforts - For FREE!
Who Doesn't Like FREE Suff?!
We all like FREE stuff.
I know I do.
It has more meaning when it is delivered as a timely and valuable reward for your efforts. I am learning that LinkedIn has mastered this skill and I welcome it with open arms.
Sunday Surprises
LinkedIn is helping me achieve my self-promotion goals for my professional management consulting firm AND content.
I started sharing one (1) post a week a couple of months ago. Now, I am up to two (2) posts a week - Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The results are speaking for themselves.
1. INCREASE IN LI PROFILE VIEWS
In the past seven (7) days, 129 people have viewed my LI Profile. Of those, 53 were new connections who have reached out to join my network and/or follow me.
Of course, as we are taught in Wealthy Affiliate (WA), I reciprocate.
2. INCREASE IN REACTIONS TO MY COMMENTS
I am more active now and support other members by commenting on their posts and reacting to their content.
As we know in WA, there are often hidden gems in comments and I am finding a lot on LinkedIn.
3. INCREASE IN FREE TRAINING
LinkedIn is FREE to join. I am not a Premium Member.
As I increase my activities by sharing content, commenting, reacting and supporting others, LinkedIn is rewarding me by offering FREE initiatives such as training.
This will be the fourth FREE training program I have been offered this month. They realise that I have a goal to promote my brands and they are helping me to achieve that.
All their training programs provide a Certificate of Completion from their Instructors.
Be Consistent With Your Efforts
This is imperative as you work towards building your business, your content inventory and your brand.
Activity is the most important thing to gain the recognition and rewards that you are looking for.
You learn all of these skills right here in WA. When you master them here, be courageous and take the online world by storm - one platform at a time.
If you are not being consistent then, Change Your Script!

Thanks for the advice. I try to look at Linked In at least a couple times a week. It doesn't always work out. But I am glad to see that you don't have to be a premium member to get benefits from LI. It's time for me to change my script and be a lot more consistent with not only LI but also Alignable.
Take care and thanks for this great share!

Karin, consistency is the key all around.
Just use WA as an example.
Being consistent keeps you moving and ahead of the game.
Wishing you the best for the week.
Many thanks,
Cassi
That's great to know. Thanks for sharing, Cassi. I've been thinking about using LinkedIn. Now I'll definitely take a look.

Good morning Cassie,
I hope you're doing well.
Thank you for another blog post, once again, I have only just seen it! It looks like I am a month late! The great thing with blog posts is that the information is always there to refer back to.
It's great that you are being noticed on LinkedIn, I have just posted a blog post on Wealthy Affiliate about why I am spending more time on LinkedIn.
I'm also seeing results on LinkedIn, it's early days yet, but I can really see the power of LinkedIn. I've seen LinkedIn members who post regularly, they appear to be getting results, as you have rightly mentioned. I will be posting a lot more on LinkedIn.
Just this week, I had one post that had 150 impressions, I appreciate that it is not views, but at least I am showing up! Several other posts had over 100 impressions. I really believe that over time and by posting regularly that things will happen.
I have already had several constructive business type offers with people wanting me to review their machinery et cetera. I believe that I can grow this side of the business.
I must admit I don't know anything about the free training, I probably ought to check my messages as I do get a few messages from LinkedIn that I haven't responded to. Maybe that's not clever! Do you have to be invited to the LinkedIn training, or is it something that we can just go and do?
Wishing you a great day and thank you for the very useful insights regarding LinkedIn.
Roy
Hi Roy,
I am happy to learn of the success that you are having on Linkedin.
The most important thing is to be consistent.
Free training pops up from time to time.
Check your notifications and keep your eyes open.
Wishing you a great week!

Good morning Cassie,
Thank you for your reply, it's appreciated.
I hear you regarding consistency, it really does seem to be key in most things!
I did find this article which isn't really training as such, but it's good for checking out your profile. I am going to go through my profile step-by-step.

Have a great day.
Roy
This is a great share, Roy!!
Thank you.
Cassi
Thank you Cassie, I hope to go through my LinkedIn profile at the weekend to try and maximise my potential. I think it would take a little bit of time as I can see that I can make quite a few improvements to my profile.
Have a great day.
Roy
Yes, it will make a positive difference, Roy.
I am enjoying the results that I am getting on LinkedIn.
Cassi
I hear you, Cassie, I feel exactly the same; it will be a positive experience.
Yesterday, I was listening to YouTube; I have my YouTube videos set for continuous play. So, in other words, when one video finishes, YouTube suggests another video and it automatically starts playing. I would say that 95% of the time, YouTube suggests a video that's worth listening to! Big G obviously knows me very well, maybe too well!
Someone I listen to regularly was interviewing a lady who is a top LinkedIn teacher. It was very interesting, she was talking about the huge potential LinkedIn has and how the majority of business owners are not taking advantage of its power. This leaves plenty of room for people like you and me!
Have a great day.
Roy
Yes, it does, Roy.
This is no different to what happens in our WA community.
People pay for membership and then do not capitalise on it.
Go figure!
Cassi
Good morning Cassie,
That is so true; you have hit the nail on the head!
Have a great weekend.
Roy
The weekend has started off very nicely, Roy.
I hope for you as well.
Cassi
That's good Cassie, my apologies for the late reply!
I was working on my off-line job on Saturday, but managed to have Sunday and Monday free!
Have a great day.
Roy
That's okay, Roy.
Thank you as always.
