LINKEDIN Success! Self-Promoting Is Profitable For Your BRAND And Business
More LinkedIn Success!
I am not sure who is helping me build more traffic these days, Prince Partha or LinkedIn. My gratitude goes out to them both, however.
This morning I awoke to discover that one of my posts was featured on LinkedIn by their News Team.
This was a post I made as a comment on an article written by the Editor at LinkedIn News.
Did you also see the support I received from our own Roy? We are VERY supportive of each other in WA. Thank you, Roy.
Self-Promoting Is A Good Thing
As an introvert, learning to speak about my strengths and success did not come easily. It is a skill (yes, it is a skill) that I learned to value and use effectively in our WA community.
It is a skill that I highly recommend as you build your online Brand.
Be mindful of HOW you do it though.
Keep being humble.
Serve, don't sell.
Be genuine.
Be yourself.
Let's be real.
If you do not believe in yourself and your brand enough to promote YOU and what you represent, how do you expect others to?
They won't and it will show through in your writing and your business efforts.
Be proud of YOU!
Be proud of YOUR BRAND!
Be proud of YOUR BUSINESS!
If you are not, you need to Change Your Script!

Wonderful, Cassi. LinkedIn is next on my list!
And, oh, yes, self promotion was a huge deterrent for me, until recently.
I put myself out there with my newest website, an account on fiverr, as well as with a new app...slowly but surely, I'm getting there.

Great post Cassi. Branding yourself is an important message, and self branding works. Make sure it is your message and not someone else's.
An excellent, point, Catherine!
I am building out my own content and that is going very well.
Thank you.

Hello Cassie,
My apologies for the late reply or comment, I have only just seen your blog post!
As you know, I have not been quite so active on Wealthy Affiliate for the last few months.
I was writing a blog post on Wealthy Affiliate this morning and I carried out a search for the word "LinkedIn". The first two posts that appeared were your posts, which is exactly what I wanted, as I knew you had written a few posts regarding LinkedIn.
First of all, I appreciate the mention, thank you very much, I have also given you a mention in my blog post, which I intended to do anyway! I am really seeing the power of LinkedIn, as we have mentioned before, I have always liked this social media platform over other platforms like Facebook, et cetera!
Your blog post sums up LinkedIn very well. I must admit sometimes it's hard to talk about ourselves as we want to be humble. Serve and don't sell is a great one, this is so true! By serving others, people can see that we are genuine.
I think too many people on social media are trying to be someone else! However, we were created individuals and we need to use our individuality.
And finally, I may need to change my script a little bit!
Once again, I do appreciate your blog posts, Cassie, thank you.
Have a good weekend.
Roy
Roy, this resonates:
"too many people on social media are trying to be someone else! "
I was saying the same thing earlier today.
Just be you and all will fall in line.
That is my belief.
Congratulations on the success you are achieving on Linkedin.
I wish you much more.
Cassi
Good morning Cassie,
It's interesting that you were thinking along the same lines, no one needs to be someone else, we just need to be ourselves! I believe that every individual has something to bring to the table!
That's exactly right; "just be you and all will fall in line"! I'm with you!
Have you thought about upgrading to Premium at LinkedIn. I thought about trying the free offer for one month in the wintertime when I am not so busy. To be fair, I don't even know what the benefits are of premium LinkedIn! Although, if I can have a free month, it may be worth testing.
Have a great day.
Roy
Hi Roy,
I may give the free LinkedIn Premium a try for a month but at the moment, the expense is a "nice to have" for me.
For sure, I will not be staying on as a paid member.
Enjoy your day also!
Cassi
Good morning Cassie,
Thank you for your reply, it's appreciated.
I understand where you are coming from, as a free member, LinkedIn appears to give many benefits. It will be interesting to see what really is in the paid package when I try it for a month. I will try and report back!
Have a good day.
Roy
I look forward to your feedback, Roy.
Thank you.
Cassi
Thank you Cassie; I'm just waiting for my off-line business to quieten down a bit more. This will give me more time to experiment with the paid version of LinkedIn.
Have a great day.
Roy
You are welcome, Roy.
Enjoy your day also.
