4 Years of GRATITUDE And GROWTH In Wealthy Affiliate
Over 1,460 Days Later
On Friday 6 October 2023, I celebrated the 1,460 days I have enjoyed in Wealthy Affiliate (WA) as a Premium and Premium Plus Member.
To say it has been a life-changing journey is putting it mildly.
When I started, I knew nothing - nada! - about creating an online business or how to Make Money Online (MMO). Content & Affiliate Marketing were something I watched in amazement and awe.
It was all unbelievable to me.
But not anymore.
Last Friday, I officially completed my 4-year sojourn at WA University. I am a proud Graduate.

Work Starts Now
Although I have been able to build a few income streams (and earn good income) from what I have learned here, I have yet to tame the beast called Affiliate Marketing.
That work starts now!
I will be investing my learning, trials and errors into building my WA MMO website. Currently, the content is all over the place and the website needs to be cleaned up.
My Target Market has been defined, (after creating content for almost everyone). It is time to streamline, buckle down and work hard to get myself to Vegas.
The Congruent Point
As my journey evolved, so did I. I am not the same person I was when I first started in WA. Along the way, I have been able to "Change My Script."
To do that successfully, I first had to push through my Congruent Point. That Point at which everything aligned and I pulled back with an "Ah Ha!" revelation.
It was not easy getting to that Point and it was a lot harder to push through. There were MANY days - and nights - that I wanted to give up and call it quits. I did not.
Not because of fear of failure but because what I want to achieve, create and leave behind far outweighs any fears that I have.
Too many people give up before they even put a foot into the dark, narrow tunnel of congruence. They fight to hold on to the old baggage rather than letting go to free themselves to embrace the gifts and blessings of their future.
That, my friends, is the Congruent Point.

Over the next 365 days, I am going to start to fly. It is about time, don't you think?
I am sending out a VERY special "Thank You!" to our Empress, The Catherine, who, like Prince Partha, gave me a much-needed kick towards taking action to bring this all together.
Through coaching, training programs and WA, Cassi Of Troy has become an established Brand. I will use that foundation to pivot and bring all the pieces together to the Congruent Point.

It's funny ya know, I think we all know or feel when that "tipping point" or as you say, "Congruent point" starts to happen.
This is one of the best parts of the journey. You are out of the woods and can see the "golden pathway" and you have already picked up a few jewels on the way, but you can see that the road leads to a huge vein of gold running where only a few can see.
And even if we share the "map" the individual affiliate still has to wear out a few shoes to get there.

Hi Cassi,
Congrats on graduating from Wealthy Affiliate. If it takes 4 years to graduate from University, it's normal to use that metric for Affiliate Marketing.
I can relate to you. The main lesson I have learned is the need to be crystal clear about our narrow niche. When we create our posts, the flow of relevancy reigns supreme.
It's easy to say this but requires knowledge and skill to implement. That is what we get at Wealthy Affiliate.
But here's the thing. At a university, there is a vast array of courses and we pick the ones that are congruent (hey your word ha) with our stated objective using guidance provided by the department we join.
There are so many courses provided at WA we need to pick and choose what we need to meet our objectives wisely. Otherwise, it is easy to take as many courses as we can cram in with mixed results. You may not have this problem but I do.

I approached as you described.
In the first year, I tried almost everything and started very broad.
Then, I chose to zoom in and chose to focus on what I was good at and what attracted easier entry to monetize.
That worked for me.
Case in point - I am now settling in with my WA MMO site.
You can only do so much.

I am in pain reading this, I cant decide whether to be on the edge of my seat with excitement or do a big happy dance. I am truly delighted for you, even though I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt on the 6th day of October, 2019 that you were going to make it to Vegas. I am so happy that everything is coming together . I wish you the same success with your second website and I cant wait to see it unveil.

I have been mulling on those words a lot, "work hard".
Our business is not rocket science.
Rather, I see it as learning a life skill, like riding a bike.
It gets MUCH easier over time, the more that you do it.
The KEYS are PRACTICE and CONSISTENCY.

That's interesting that you have been thinking about the words "work hard"! One thing I know for sure, it's far easier to work from home than it is to go out to work! For me, it's also less physical than my offline business!
That's true; actually, it's not rocket science, but something we learn and move forward with the times. It certainly does get much easier over time. Although, sometimes I have to refer to videos to remind myself of how I do something. I even refer to my own videos sometimes, just to remind myself!
I could agree more, Cassi practice and consistency are a massive key to being successful with online business! Every successful Internet marketer that I know is consistent!
It's always a pleasure to follow someone who is genuinely trying and moving forward and documenting their journey! I look forward to the next 12 months.
Of course, sometimes we just need to change our script!😊

Sometimes you just have to throw it to the wind, grab something else and give it your all.
We hold on to too much baggage and drift aimlessly for too long.
Focus and consistency are critical.

I really like that script, Cassi, "Change Your Script" really suits what you have achieved and actually means a lot! Many of us really do need to change our script!
That is very true, Cassi; it's so easy to hold onto baggage and drift aimlessly, which is no good to anyone!
I just replied to Kyle's latest blog post and mentioned that consistency is key! Or if I didn't, I meant to!
Even at Wealthy Affiliate, I believe that Kyle and the team are kind of changing the script and trying to move even further forward. Although that must be difficult when things are going well! But I do admire them all for doing what they do!

I do, Catherine, although for the last seven years plus, I have been focusing more on just tree stump grinding.
I had the business valued a couple of years ago, and it was actually potentially worth quite a bit of money. However, there were no takers! I must admit I may have missed the boat, if it had been marketed 3 1/2 years ago, I think that it could have sold.
Many of the business transfer agencies are almost crooks as they are not very truthful. I was aware of this before I marked the business. I put it on the market with an open mind, if it sold, that's fine, but if not, I will carry on for the time being.
I really would like to be able to focus more on the online business, though.
I know you are really a great action-taker, which I admire! I'm a bit more steady, which may hold me back.
