Jay said something last night that resonated with me. 2020 has been severely impacted by the pandemic and talking about it can actually result in lowering your traffic and sales. It was proven when discussions turned from the training towards the virus that has gripped us all.

His recommendation?

Stay away from it! I agree.

We should be focused on all the benefits that we have on our doorstep at WA, how we are going to close 2020 and what our plans are for 2021.

Close 2020 Strong!

If you have not yet started, now is a great time to do so. We have 89 days to the end of the year, which is 11 more weeks before we crack the champagne to welcome in 2021.

Have you given any thought to how you want to close 2020?

Last night, after our date-night with Jay, I set out targets to close the year.

Here's what it looks like:

I have incorporated holidays and the closing of school as these will impact on the time I have available to work in my business. We will not be travelling this year but there will still be activities for time with family and friends here for the last 2 weeks of December.

A closer look at my goal-setting shows how I have broken down my goals and activities:

Social Media

Pinterest and Facebook are bringing me the best results and I will continue with regular pinning and sharing of my blog posts. I share on my business pages, personal page periodically and within some of the groups that I am a member of.

In LinkedIn, my focus will simply be on lead generation. I will not post at often but try to build my engagement and network.

Thanks to Roy, I have been able to schedule my social media activity and the times fit well into my daily activities.

Offline Business

I have to be offline 2 days of the week - Wednesday and Friday - with Clients who are on retainer. My time is flexible and those hours may vary between 4-6 on those days. This still gives me time to get some research, blog drafting and website maintenance in.

Blogs And Writing

4 days of the week are dedicated to my writing. Each week I will write 6 blogs for my 3 websites.

A lot of research, planning and drafting has already been done, so that will be doable for me. I started to back-link to my WA blogs and across my websites. That strategy is starting to some good promise.

Of course, I do internal linking and I notice that it is resulting in my visitors spending more time on each website.

Twack's recent post on why people fail reiterated the fact that the devil is in the detail. If you do not dream in specifics and translate those specifics into daily activities, your movement forward will be limited, at best.

I encourage you to take some time to think about what you want to achieve and find your rhythm.

Have an achievement filled weekend!

I am more than sure that 2020 will end with a huge success for you. You can be proud of how far you have come so far. So I know I don't need to tell you not to give up because you're a go-getter and you're going to achieve your goals.

Ingrid

Ingrid, your support means the world to me. 🙂
I could not have achieved this without WA.

Thank you.

Great encouraging post. I'm obsessed with goals and strive to meet them every week.
It is so helpful to me that the more experienced WAers post helpful articles like this to motivate all of us.
Gonna finish strong this year!
Best to you,
Barbara

Barbara, I am very happy to hear that you are going to finish strong in 2020.

WA has all the resources and support that you need to do that.

I wish you the very best.

Thank you Cassi. As usual, great post.
You have inspired me to set some targets for the rest of the year.

Cheers,
Candy Benn

You are welcome, Candy. 🙂

Finish strong and start stronger.

Great post again Cassi, since we are mostly working from home, this is the perfect time to plan out the rest of the year and start fresh the new year with specific goals. I have to watch some webinars from Jay to recharge my agenda.

You're a busy woman, I like that, hopefully, based on your time-management training, I need to set up a schedule. Thanks again Cassi

You are welcome, Eugene.

You are right.
We should make good use of the time that we have available now.

No better time to get started. 🙂
