Gathering momentum
I have been here a few weeks now and I have completed Level One training. I am currently working my way through Level Two. Everyone has been so supportive which has been really encouraging.
Now I am ranked on Google (which is great) and created my About Me page. The problem is I have become frustrated, discouraged and overwhelmed. I have starting writing my three posts as part of the process during the training. I just can't seem to complete one post to publish.
I have really enjoyed the WA community's posts and found them inspiring and informative. I have had a bit of advice too through messages and I will take this on board. Thank you all at WA.
So I have decided to slow down, think through my ideas and write about anything I can think off to get those creative juices flowing and find my writing voice. Whether it be on WA or on paper. I am hoping I will find momentum by doing so.

Whoa... slow down. This is not a race. You're stressing yourself over nothing and you'll end up taking the joy out of this.
Pick ONE post. Finish it, then move on to the next. Give each of your articles the attention it deserves.
Have a glass of wine later today and relax. If you don't drink alcohol, make it green or chamomile tea.
Remember what Kyle says, you don't have to be perfect. I get a lot of my inspiration from Flipboard. If you subscribe to topics that are relevant to your niche you can get a lot of ideas from there.
Insightful post Caroline. I am enclosing a recent link about time management to help with the process of multiple tasks. Let me know if anything else occurs. https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/219553
Hi Caroline, such a great post. You have been extremely supportive in my recent posts and I think that is the greatest thing about belonging to a community like WA, we support one another. You have hit the nail on the head when you say it's all about finding your own writing voice. The posts that I most connect with, the ones whose writers I have always returned to over and over again are the bloggers who connect with me on a seemingly personal level. Of course I know that they are writing to a wider audience ..but non the less feels like they are talking directly to me as if I am their only reader. The overwhelm aspect is a definite problem, especially to us when we are first starting out. Remember, Rome wasn't build in a day. Anything that is worth doing and worth doing well will take some time to achieve. It's not so much one amazing achievement, but a series of tiny little steps that when accumulated produces the most wondrous end results. Trust me, keep taking those little steps and you will build something that you will be very proud of. Have a great day. All the best, Anthony
Hello Caroline, if you are not a writer it is hard to get started. Like you stated you need to start small and build on that, but do it consistently. Eventually the juices do start to flow. Just remember to write your blogs like you are speaking to a friend.
This is so true. I had to "slow down" a bit and think things through more clearly at one point. The advice received my other members is invaluable.
Yes , I thought I knew what direction I wanted to go and then realised I hadn't a clue when I started writing. I am definitely learning a lot from the other members. Thank you
Hi Caroline I am at exactly the same stage as you and yes, take a little time out to look for inspiration. It is so easy to be overwhelmed so slow down its not a race. Best wishes
Yes Marty, I think I just got so excited at the start that you hope you get a great post out there. It's a lot harder than I thought. Thank you
Hi there William, thank you and yes I will stay focused. It might just take a little longer than hoped
