I want my recent post to appear when somebody clicks on my website. How can I do this?

You can always make a post 'Sticky' to make it appear above the other posts.
Of course you would have to take this function off and put it on your new post every time you published.

By default the blog homepage is the blogroll with all your posts in reverse chronological order.
Or you can change it to use a static, independent home page, which has nothing to do with the actual blogroll.
But using the latest post - I mean the post itself with it's full content - as a homepage isn't possible. Each post has its own unique URL ...

If anyone is an afiliat for amazon is it the html text that is the link?

You would not use the html link if you are creating word links in your post. You would click the little arrow next to get link to get your link you would use.

Hi folks. My images don´t show up on my website. What am i doing wrong?
The picture is not displayed on your website for the following reasons:
There is no update article, there is no attached image in the media in your article, the selected image does not apply.
(Click media, then attach image in your post or page)
Your images can show on our page but if their not showing when you view your blog, go down the right hand side look for featured image, click on media find the picture and upload it there. Then you should have it show on your blog post of your site, let me know if it works.

I am a novice at this. I thought that when I visited my site from word press I would be able to see the images I have attached
I get up the choice of showing or hiding featured image
@bunchy I usually show the feature image as it makes the site look nice or the person doesn't see the image until the open and read the article.
Also depending on the theme if you don't set the image it may leave a blank box with a place holder for an image. Hope that helps

I think you should update your article and check if your post is fully displayed.
