Yes I know, without them we have no business but is it not, just occassionally, a pain in the @#$E to have to deal with them?

After hours of work, sketches, developing untold numbers of logos etc they decide on a Brand logo and you set everything up. They love it and.....

they then go and design their own to use on social media.

To top it all, they use the incorrect domain name and send all your new visitors to their opposition.

They are paying me to send their prospective customers to their opposition!!!! And don't think it was their fault!

WHY?????

It Just Drives me back to

It is going to be one of those Mondays!

Hi Bryan,
Sorry to hear that man! Glad I'm not in your shoes!

People can be so hateful!!

Good luck and I hope you get things worked out.

Here's to a better tomorrow,
Donna:)

Ugh, you have my sympathy. This why I prefer to not to take on clients and generate income with freelancing. If they are showing you what insanity they are capable of, it might be a good idea as soon as you can to kick them to the curb.

Client relationships are like any other friendship or relationship. If it's toxic and not working, they need to go. With experience under your belt you can hand pick a better clientele. Good luck.

You're gonna be OK!

I'm sure you will get through this. Love your Monday pictures. I hope my day will be better than that. lol

Luckily, tomorrow is just around the corner.

Hang in. Tomorrow is another day. Cheers AJ

And then life goes on... :-)

If possible I would always humbly follow instructions and directions unless I did not understand.

Occasionally you find clients that are anything but humble. Luckily, they are few and far between. Most understand that they enlist your help because they don't know how. :-)

That should be the logic.

Thanks a lot for sharing!

Wish you grteat success!

Bob

Hang in there Bryan, I don't want you looking like Kermit on a bench somewhere. What am I talking about, I might be looking like Kermit soon too lol. Hope your week gets better my friend.

An occupational hazard. The Kermit sure looks pleased with himself. Just not sure about how it will feel tomorrow? :-o

Haha I know the feeling all to well.

Hey Bryan
Sounds like they are learning their lessons the hard way - sorry that you have felt the brunt of it but knowing that their actions have not worked in their favour will hopefully make them think again.
I worked in recruitment for 12 years and we had the same challenge, you advertise, interview, reference, criminal, credit check your applicants, narrow it down to the "perfect shortlist" and they either decide not to fill the position or promote someone from within - aaargh!
Hang in there, the tide will turn.

Louise

Having worked with public for 43 years, I should be used to it but is frustrating.

Oh wow, that is unfortunate

Enough to drive me to .....
