After posting I went on Twitter and reached out to all of the companies, just letting know that they had been mentioned. You can see an example below:
Companies want to hear from you and love to see people talking about them. Make sure to reach out and you will get rewarded. This doesn't just work for my niche, but could be used in any niche out there!

I never thought about it quite like that but I do know that I need to spend more time on the social side of the internet and spend more time learning social promotion. This was very good insight and motivation for me to spend more time on the social avenue. Thank you.
I will say that your primary focus should be creating content and working on your site, but it only takes a few minutes to share with companies after you post so it's a good habit to get into!
