have you read this article by Diane it follows that google wants your site on only one niche and completely targeted to that one niche...
or your rankings may suffer...

Yes I read that. Thanks for sharing that. Yes I am fully aware of it. Yet I see many WA in another niche promoting WA.

Members use WA banners or they mentioned WA using a soft approach. I’ve seen those in the travel niche, food niche, electronics niche, software niche, boating niche, and many more.

Most had WA banners. Some are monetized with ads. I saw one in the beer niche, WA member so I know its being done.

I’ve seen it and they are in Google. Some put their other website at the footer. Jay does that. So if hes doing it and he has high domain authority site then its possible to do it.

Point is one niche yes, it isnt stopping people from sharing about WA.

i think you will find - even the high domain authority sites will suffer
and starting sites will be hit or not even rank if there is no laser focus on the site....
times are changing and what may appear to work now will not work into the future for organic traffic...
google can now do a lot of the heavy lifting with its ai and wants original content from creators on their websites totally on topic...

Sorry, can't agree with you here. I just had a very disappointed WA member who mixed in WA promotional posts with his niche posts. The result was such a hodge podge of posts that he was not accepted into our affiliate network. He's going to have to clean up a lot to even be considered again. Doing this confuses your readers and confuses Google.

Hmm, that's interesting. It wouldn't work with affiliate networks like Awin or others. I did see a lot of other WA members who are cross-promoting WA, but they are not affiliated with other networks. I've seen many use Wa banners, and I've seen many in different niches on the bottom of their post that will say, "Learn How I Blog." These people were not in the MMO niche, some were promoting other affiliate programs and WA. To each its own. That's all I can say about it. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure what you mean by "wouldn't work with affiliate networks like Awin". Do you mean promoting WA and also promoting Awin? Because that's not what I'm talking about.

This blogger wanted to promote travel programs available on the Awin platform, but his site was so mixed up that we couldn't let him into our network. We wouldn't subject our advertisers to a site that had so many mixed messages on it. Was it a travel site? Were they promoting MMO? Were they only promoting WA as an MMO? Out of 10 posts, there was no clear winner.

Yeah, I've seen those sites too, where it says something like "You too can become a blogger." At minimum, make sure you're a successful blogger before you do something like that. Otherwise it looks like you're still in training but so excited about it that you want to tell everyone about it.

Just my thoughts, but I've seen it happen a couple hundred times over the last ten years.

It is much easier to promote WA with the latest upgrade! They can have the HUB experience and able to ask questions without being railroaded, as they can ask questions in the Question section and not the Live Chat!
Live Chat is now exclusively for members.

I believe the conversation rate from a starter would be better. The upgrade was a game-changer!

Cheers,
Maria 🌹

Hi Maria, that is what I am hoping that promoting WA with the new business hub will bring more conversion rates. I agree all the new upgrades on WA platform is β€œa game changer β€œ experience. It’s much more organized and on task to speed us up. I took the 8 lessons in the Hub it’s fantastic. If you haven't yet, go through it. Its awesome. πŸ‘. Live chat for paid members only love it- keeps us more focused than ever before. Thanks for pointing it all out! Cheers to you too! πŸ˜€

I did Brenda! That’s why I blogged it! Cheers,
Maria 🌹

I didnt see that one yet! Thanks I will read it! πŸ˜€

Did you see the hubcap, Lamborghini as my article image? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…

Haha πŸ˜‚ yes I saw the image just now. I just woke up Maria 15 min ago. When I am more awake and alert after eating breakfast I will read your blog the hub lamborghini definitely a matching image, humorous too love it.πŸ˜‚ πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘

Hmmm?? I can't disagree with what you have said here Brenda, but.... personally I don't like to promote WA at the end of each and every article I write for specific niche websites!

It just doesn't really sit right with me, promoting something that has absolutely nothing to do with what post my audience has visited in order to get an answer to there question!

I have no problem with a short sentence or two in an about me page saying where you can sign up and start your own online business as I have, but... doing so on every post we produce just seems spammy to me!!!

My personal opinion here only of course, and I am sure that many may disagree with me!!!

Hi Nick, it's cool that people can decide what they want to do with their online business. Each person has a unique take on the subject. People do no have to do I suggest, they can if they want to. It's not required.

I understand it is your personal preference, and I support it. It's also a great idea to do it on the About Me page. If people disagree, that's OK. It's your business, you get to do what you feel is right. I promote WA, so all my articles pertain to building an online business in the make-money-online niche. Thanks for sharing your thoughts here! πŸ˜€πŸ‘

Cheers Brenda!! If I was promoting WA and in the MMO niche I would certainly have a link to the platform on each and every post too!!

I just don't think it looks too cool to do so on a niche website that has nothing to do with MMO!!

Appreciate your feedback as always my friend and enjoy a wonderful weekend!

πŸ‘πŸ€—

I clearly understand. No worries!

πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ€—

This is a good idea because you never know whose interest might be piqued by a little tease at the end of a blog post. Especially those that say, "I can write better than that!" A little call to action says, "C'mon big-time, let's see what you got!" Thanks for the post, Brenda.

Dave

Hi Dave, yes, you got it. Sure, you are welcome! πŸ˜€
