Beyond AI Algorithms: The Argument of Experience and Expertise that Makes Human Writing Irreplaceable
Here we are right into artificial intelligence (AI), where algorithms rule, and automation is Queen or King (depending on your views). Let me play the antagonist today or be the devil's advocate arguing why AI takes the human experience and expertise away from you.
Mind you; this is my human writing. I noticed we live In a world inundated with automated content creation tools; it's so easy to believe that AI algorithms can produce flawless prose at lightning speed. While they certainly have their merits with their efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
BUT: AI lacks the depth and nuance that can only be provided by human interaction, period!
Even so, there is still one area where human expertise and experience are irreplaceable: That is writing!
I argue why human writing remains important even with the availability of AI algorithm's presence. It is necessary to harness the power of human experience and expertise to capture your audience's attention. That is the point of writing your content.
This is in response to Kyle's post.

The Problem with AI Algorithms
There is no doubt that AI algorithms have revolutionized the business world. AI algorithms offer speed and efficiency like never before when writing content. They can generate articles, blogs, emails, letters, and social media posts within seconds.
I argue five fundamental problems with AI written content:
1. AI-generated (AI algorithms) content is good at analyzing data and recognizing patterns but lacks the human touch that gives writing authenticity and depth.
2. Writing goes beyond mere words; it involves emotion, creativity, and critical thinking. These are vital core elements that are inherently human.
3. AI may be able to produce grammatically correct sentences and coherent paragraphs, but it does not capture the essence of a topic or connect with readers on an emotional level.
4. AI-generated content lacks contextuality. Language requires more than simply parsing its data. AI does not have insight into cultural recognization, idiomatic expressions, or linguistic predispositions of specific countries or audiences. It might show that, but it will naturally be inaccurate.
5. AI-generated content is not original. Meanwhile, those using it think, wow, AI can mimic existing content by writing almost like a human. Still, it does not bring your unique personal human perspective or creativity to your writing.
Of course, AI-generated content and its algorithms may have their place when creating and summarizing data. Still, they cannot fully replace human writers when crafting compelling narratives and persuasive arguments that allow you to connect with your readers on a personal level, which conflicts with Google's E.E.A.T guidelines.
Google's E. E. A. T. Principles.
Human experience and expertise should be considered when you write your blog post content!
Google's E.E.A.T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) principles are critical for improving the quality of your blog post content online.
Resources:
https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2022/12/google-raters-guidelines-e-e-a-t
When you write your blog post content, Google recommends applying these principles. The goal is to develop reliable, authoritative, and trustworthy content so users are confident they can connect with real people when searching for information on Google.
Experience is vital. It's about writing your first-hand experiences on the topic you're writing about. Experience is what distinguishes AI-written content from human-generated content. What AI generates will not be unique and original.
Expertise shows confidence in the person's ability shared and makes readers more likely to trust what you are saying. Experts that write a blog post have personal experience with the topic.
Authoritativeness is providing evidence to back up any claims you make. This can be done through research, simple citations, and links to other sites. It is determined by its trustworthiness and credibility, which are essential to search engine ranking and user experience.
Trustworthiness is established by being transparent and honest about your sources, avoiding plagiarism or any other form of intellectual property theft, and providing accurate information. You are ensuring that your present information is factual and not misleading.
When you apply these E. E. A. T. principles when writing blog post content, your readers will have a better experience engaging with you because they recognize trustworthiness and authority, thus ensuring that the information they find in your post is accurate and reliable.
You can use AI to help you with some things. The point is to help you remember to edit for human E.E.A.T. to connect with your readers personally.
They want you! Not AI-generated content that doesn't connect with them.
The Solution: The Human Experience and Expertise Approach
There is no denying the power of human experience and expertise in writing. While AI algorithms have significantly advanced in generating content, they cannot provide a genuine human touch in writing.
Human Writers do the following:
- Bring a unique blend of creativity, emotion, and critical thinking to their work.
- Draws upon their own experiences, expertise, and knowledge to craft engaging pieces that relate with readers on a deeper level.
- Possess an accurate innate understanding of context. They can adapt their writing style and tone based on the intended audience or purpose of the content.
The human personal touch is impressive. It is something that machines cannot replicate. Machines can think better than us and probably are more intelligent, but our experience and expertise are even more brilliant than AI.
All AI is just words using national language processing. Think about that.
To implement the human experience and expertise solution is to continue to practice your writing skills; the more you practice, the better writer you will become. If writing is hard for you, you can use AI to assist you, but always be the human editor at the forefront. Also, be in control and make sure that you write content that shows you can speak directly to your reader's interests, needs, and wants.
Final Thoughts
This post is why human writing remains essential despite the availability of AI algorithm's presence. The human writing goes beyond providing information; it creates an emotional connection with readers. It taps into their desires, fears, dreams, and aspirations. If you infuse personal experiences and expertise into your writing, you can captivate audiences like no algorithm ever could do. To do that, it is best to write in conversational language, providing real-life examples and demonstrating empathy throughout the process; you can create highly impactful pieces that connect you deeply with those who matter most, which are your readers!

Great post Brenda! Whilst I do use AI to assist with writing and other areas of my business, I would never leave it to do everything!!!
Having that human element is so important in my opinion and will be something AI will never be able to replace!
Appreciate the share my friend and enjoy a wonderful start to Frisatsu! :-)
Well thought out post, the human touch is definitely needed in our posts, however the meat of the post can be done by AI and we are the sinew that holds it together.
Thanks
Stephen
Hey Brenda, great post. I have learned a lot about AI content by checking AI-generated content. There is a distinct difference.
AI has no personality.

Hi Brenda,
I do understand that you have to write your own content just to let your readers know that it is YOU that's writing the content and not Al, and to also not receive a write ban from Google. So I do understand the importance and essence that we can give in writing and posting content but I definitely wouldn't mind using Al as an idea to come up with ideas on how to do that while finding the perfect niche to start.
As always, excellent blog post and hope you have a wonderful night ahead!

Understandable! I still don't think it has come up to that point according to what Kyle said in his recent post, about Al replacing everyone. Especially when it comes to writing. I do want to believe that Al is just a metaphor of ideas of how to give content.
Myra š
Thanks for taking the time to type me this very lengthy essay. The answer to that is -no I wouldn't want to buy anything if it had an "Al" in with those Amazon links. ;)

Love it! It's so important to recognize individuality and lived experiences in this new world of emerging AI content!
I'm attempting to enter the realm of travel writing/blogging during this transition.
Check out some of my articles on Reefhealers.com about the stigmatized fear of sharks and my firsthand experiences with them!
As Brenda said, adding that touch of understanding and relation with the human condition opens the doors for inspiration and connection through writing that AI can't provide.
Great post, Brenda!
