A Guide to Getting Your Wealthy Affiliate Blog Posts Ranked on Google and Bing

Do you think your Wealthy Affiliate blog posts don't rank in Bing and Google? If you answer, "I don't know, I am not sure." Then this article is your ultimate resource! You will learn all about SEO (Search Engine Optimization), why it is significant for you to write in your Wealthy Affiliate (WA) blog posts, how WA optimizes them automatically, how you can come up with content that rises in search engines' results, and also follow the best practices for promoting your WA post on your website.

Let's dive in.

What is SEO?

Most of us know what SEO means, but for those who do not. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is about optimizing a website or blog post to rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs).

SEO aims to increase organic traffic, which refers to visitors who find your website through unpaid search results.

Search engines like Google and Bing use complex algorithms to determine which websites and blog posts should be ranked first in SERPs. These algorithms consider various factors such as keyword density, content quality, backlinks, user experience, and more.

To optimize your blog post for SEO, you need to understand how these algorithms work and what factors they consider essential. This requires research on keywords that are relevant to your niche audience.

After identifying these keywords, you can incorporate them naturally into your blog post's title tag, meta, header tags (H1-H6), content body text, and description tag image alt texts.

We all should have a basic concept of SEO.

Please don't worry- if you write in your WA blog post, it will rank in Google and Bing SERPs.

SEO also helps increase organic traffic to your site, which can result in more leads and conversions for your business.

Your Wealthy Affiliate blog post is an automated optimization platform ensuring these SEO features are covered. It automatically adds tags, metadata, and other essential elements to provide the search engine sees your blog post.

This is why SEO is so important for Wealthy Affiliate blog posts, as it can help you reach a larger audience and increase the chances of success for your online business.

Hi Brenda,

Great article!

I can see that you have lots of relevant articles to link to, which makes a lot of sense.

From time to time, I put in links in my WA blogs to other people's WA blogs. Sometimes this is just because I want to be able to find the article myself and if I find it useful then so will other people. Sometimes it's just a link that I think others might like. And sometimes I think to myself if someone landed on my article (perhaps because I have shared it on social media) and there's a useful link then maybe they will stay on the site and carry on reading and finding out about WA. (and maybe get a referral?)

Any thoughts?

All the best,

Julia

Hi Julia, sorry for the late response. You are doing just fine with what you are doing. The point is to offer value, if it's helpful content that provides relevancy and value, then go for it. This is why I put relevant links in my WA blog to my website as "share," Just click share with your affiliate id number; otherwise, you won't get the referral.

Good information -- thanks for sharing.

Hi Fran, nice to see you are still around. Thanks for the comments. I appreciate it.

Yep, still hanging in there. Having an 85th birthday in two months, exactly. Good to still be on the right side of the plywood.

My Mom turned 83 yesterday, and she can't believe it. I am the eldest of five, and she contacted us, siblings, via text yesterday, calling us her babies. LOL. I missed reading your WA blog -seems the post has gone silent for a while. Have you been busy, Fran?

Yes, I've gone silent, and my rank shows it. Guess I should start writing the little blogs again. Too much going on lately.

Ok, I understand.

More awesome information, Brenda! Enjoy your Frisatsu!

Jeff

Hi Jeff, thank you. You too.

You bet, Brenda! I hope that I will, my friend! I sure plan on it anyway!

Jeff

Jeff, it's a long holiday weekend. I hope you enjoy it. (I do not celebrate holidays or birthdays) but I do know other people do. Most people here will head out to the cold water beaches of Oregon. Did you know that even during the summer, the ocean waters are much more frigid on the Oregon and Washington side? Compared to the Southern California beaches or the Southern states' Atlantic Ocean are much warmer. Anyway, I stay clear of being around crowds. I will be staying home and doing the work as usual. I will probably binge on some movies and series I need to catch up on in Amazon Prime videos, Netflix, and Paramount Plus.

I did not know that, Brenda, though, it should not surprise me!

At least try to have a somewhat relaxing work weekend! Enjoying the movies seems like a suitable alternative!

Jeff

Hi Brenda,

This is true. I did social blogging for some time, and had several of those posts rank well, a couple in the number one spot.

Just looking here, my post from May 19th is ranked third on page one of Google.

My post on if WA is a scam is in the 22nd position.

My post on incurring penalties for using AI to write your posts for two different keyword strings is in the 1st and 3rd positions respectively.

The authority helps immensely in ranking our posts here.

While I choose not to use this to try to get traffic to my own blog, it can help me indirectly in others who may come across them and decide to join WA after clicking onto my post.

I do plan on doing what you mention, sharing links to my posts here on my own blog posts of similar topic.

A great tool I'm sure many overlook.

Another great angle for all of us to keep in mind.

Regards,

Jason

Jason, if you can take a photo of it, that would be great, or a screenshot if you know how. You want to build trust and authority, so these screenshots provide direct proof that WA blogs rank just like our website does.

The only difference between the two is that we have to work to get traffic to our website; meanwhile, we don't have to do that for our WA blogs. It's done automatically. I think only a few people know about that.

To end this, I strongly encourage you to continue to write on your WA blog post to create more value. After that you can add to your website. I explain how to do that first link in the post. Save that one as it will help you, just as it helped me. Yes, many overlook this important tool: a vital tool, IMHO.

Hi Brenda,

A great idea and I do know how to take screenshots and then paste them in paint where I can edit out personally identifying information before saving. :)

Did you know Kyle had his class that was supposed to happen last night earlier today? I just found out from Frank and went to Kyles blog where he had the link. I wish they could have had something alerting us. I was on this morning.

Last night in live chat he was saying either Sunday or Thursday evening. I didn't even know they did daytime classes.

Regards,

Jason

It's a recorded class. I watched it this morning. It's a great start to watch it about AI prompt. Interesting class. Kyle is such a sweetheart. He knew how disappointed we were, so he got it up and going, but it's not a live class. Kyle did alert us in his blog post, informed people in the comment section of the course, and did it in live chat. You must have missed it. You were off last night. Are you off all weekend, including Monday, which is the holiday? Will you be working on your website blog? I am going to bug you to get it going. Smile! That's my plan; I do not celebrate holidays or birthdays, so at least any day is good for me, which means I can work quietly and hope no one bothers me so I can get some work done.

I was off last night and here ready for the live class. Kyle mentioned in live chat it was postponed until Sunday or Thursday night.

I have to work Sunday night/Monday morning as usual. I will be working on my pillar post later tonight and some tomorrow as well. I'm grumpy about that though, the working Sunday night that is.

Folks who have the day off are getting a days pay to stay home, and I'll be getting time and a half, which really means I'm getting half pay for the holiday.

In times past when companies did this I called out on principle, but I can't lose the pay right now so have to suck it up.

Regards,

Jason

I wouldn't say I like corporations. They cut and cut. Only the ones at the top make more money. Jason, I am living in an assisted living that is a corporate, for-profit running company. They treat us, residents, like we are nobody. They've been cutting everything. They cut our meals from two choices to one main meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Before corporate greed took over, we were given A and B choices; now, there is no A or B, just one main course. That is it. They also cut staffing hours, and we are short staff. Staffing arguing with residents and acting out because they get paid so low to provide care for us. I got MS, so I suffer severely here with lack of help. WA is my why and that's why I want to stay focused so I can get the hell out of this place and have my own place where I can have private caregivers. I got to start at the bottom and work my way up. Anyway, I call this corporate GREED! I remember before, on Holidays, I would get double pay, not time and half; it was double. I was always taking the Holidays shift because I don't celebrate it, which meant more money. Now we do not see that. They cut and cut. I get it all due to our economic breakdown, but that's another rant I don't want to get into.

Hi Brenda,

Corporations have changed so much from my youth.

I've read your descriptions on your living conditions here and there and my heart goes out to you each time. It always reads so similar to the experiences those in elder care homes endure.

From watching my grandmother in one of those, to having a close friend who worked at one tell me stories to awful outcomes for some in that care over the years that makes the news I decided long ago I would prefer to die at home even if it shaves years off of my life. As if the quality is horrible then were those years really valuable?

I've been drawn to your account here very quickly after joining. Based on the way you soak up the information here and then take what I view as a crucial next step, teach it to others, I do believe you will be successful in freeing yourself from the situation you find yourself in.

I noticed early in my life that it is often when we know enough to begin teaching that we become the ultimate student and learn so very much from questions on our presentation to others.

I have no doubt that one day you (if you choose) will be just as much a household name to bloggers as the Neil Patel/Matthew Woodward folks are now.

Back to the corporate changes.

Back in my youth in physical intense warehouse settings it was good enough if they saw you worked. Sometime in the last couple of decades they turned it into a production type flow, introducing quotas that perhaps maybe the top 20% of youthful employees can hit.

Resulting in more work injuries, high turnover and the belittlement of folks work ethic despite their giving their all.

I could go on but will spare a rant on this hah hah.

I'm rooting for you and my spirit will soar the day I read your post that you reach the point you are free of this system.

Regards,

Jason

There is a ton of good information here, Brenda. Thanks!

Dave

Hi Dave. I hope you invest in this knowledge and use your WA blog post to create value and add them to your website. You gain more trust and credibility

I will have to give that some thought. Do you think it might be tricky to incorporate WA blog info into a chicken-raising blog?

If you write about chickens in WA, then sure, why not, Dave-LOL. I would only if I am promoting WA. You can do that. A call to action at the bottom of your post could be

"Learn how I blog" with your WA affiliate link.

Thanks, Brenda. I am always promoting WA, and I will actually use the "learn how I blog" text in my next clever blog. I appreciate the tip!

Dave

Sure, Dave anytime!
