Yeah that's right.

Not much, but my website has been actually doing better ironically when I left it alone which was not really by choice but by necessity due to my life situation at the time.

Really quick here's my story. (not a long read):

I've been at WA for about 15 months.

I was grinding in the rat race and looking to make another income to help myself out like anyone else.

I was VERY skeptical of WA for months.

I finally tip toed in April 2018.

Did some training and actual work on my blog and website here and there with my busy schedule like anyone else.

I was not consistent.

I tried diving in full time about 6 months into it and jumping my job WAY TOO EARLY because it felt too distracting (Don't do that!).

My attempt was an effort to progress FASTER (always a dangerous word and approach in life).

Although I produced way more content, my website was STILL premature at just under 12-months and not trusted by search engines yet.

It didn't matter... yet.

So needless to say, I got very disillusioned and into really bad financial trouble.

Yikes.

Luckily I got bailed out and went back to my job steady for 4-5 months.

That's how I didn't post for 3 months.

I was so busy to get out of a hole... sometimes working 2 weeks straight.

But to my surprise, I would check my earnings on Amazon occasionally (meaning all the time LOL) would see I was making money on articles I made back in December and January.

To me it seemed like when I employed PATIENCE, the training at WA, and the lessons from the people here who have been here a longer time, I got results.

If you are in a rush, this WILL NOT save you.

If you are looking to build long term, this WILL feed you.

The break was actually nice and helped my creativity ALOT.

Had I been in a rush this entire time I don't think I could have said the same though I'm not saying anyone should do what I did.

I just posted my latest post at over 3,000 words even though I'm super rusty and still somewhat busy.

I made a consious effort to add a little bit every so often to my article.

It got done.

Next, I'm up leveling my YouTube game for my articles. A great way to generate traffic. I've seen a little of success with that.

Chime in guys.

Let's talk.

I like your approach, and, you didn't give up hope and now it's paying off. This is a great story for those who think they should just give up.

Thanks!
Cal

Great stick-to-it-tive-ness! Congrats on the new income!

Congrats, F...yes, you have to be consistent and committed...this is the name of the game...and it is a longterm one. Contimued success.

PS
How do you plan to use YouTube to leverage your articles?

Finally, someone that has a progression similar to mine :-)

It hasn't been easy for me for the last couple of years and the money is slowly coming in. As you said, patience is the key and taking a break once in while is also good for the brain.

Keep up the good work! I wish you great success!

This speaks to patience and hard work. So, I will follow in your footstep to continue pushing on.

Thanks for sharing. I discuss the need for delayed gratification with this business. People don't understand the articles you're writing now won't rank and make you money for months later. So if you take the let me write a few articles and wait to see if it works attitude, you've put yourself behind.

The system does work, it just takes time as I discuss here:

I really liked your post. It really shows that work hard, and be realistic the first year. I am only 2 1/2 mos in and have 34 posts. I am doing my best to just keep working. I hope for success 6-12 mos from now.
Thanks

Thank you for a wonderful post. This is what us new starters need. Honesty, and advice.

Sometimes people think that it is a race when you get started then they find that the rat race takes over.

It sounds like you have found a good balance for you. Keep plugging away at your own pace and it will happen.

Keep plodding away.

Yes sir! Plodding continues.

Good for you.
