I was wanting to sell a few products on my dog blog using print on demand, but am confused as to who to use. Printify, Redbubble, etc. Looking for dog bandanas, hats, t-shirt

Teespring and RedBubble

I'd say do your research well and always read the small print, their terms and conditions.

There may be a local service to where you are if you are planning on stocking inventory and may even fetch a lesser price.

You could also reach out to Upwork dot com or 99Designs dot com for a skilled pro do your designs. You can look at Society6 for designs however you cannot copy same, you have to get creative.

if you are selling items from your site, then yes you would need install the WooCommerce plugin.

Thank you so much for your comment. I am after a day of research finding out so much more. I am leaning toward redbubble to start maybe.
For redbubble I thought I didn’t need to use woocommerce. I thought I could create a page and then enter the code into it? Obviously I have more research to do.
Appreciate the help.

Hi, I believe you are right as far as Redbubble, however some folks have their inventory or they do drop shipping in which they would build a store using WordPress open source and/or Shopify platform.

We have a preference for Shopify as you can sell and blog and also has many apps you can use from within, their support team is top notch and no coding needed. Plus expanding your store to become a multivendor and further a field enterprise solutions for high volume sellers.

And you are so very welcome.

It's difficult to tell as they are so many. Make a search for 'best print on demand sites'. and then sign up for some and try your hands on their tools for yourself. I hope this helps

Yeah that’s what I did, but find myself heading down the rabbit hole of print on demand! Haha

Everything Wordpress
Updated

Ever since I updated my wordpress, I am unable to edit my posts. I do this using the classic editor plugin not in gutenberg. Does anyone know what Classic Editor is no longer

My classic editor was fixed by tech support after they told me it was a theme issue, I contacted generate press and they determined that I was missing core wordpress files on my site. I have attached what they sent. I forwarded it to tech support and they managed to fix most of my issues. Happy that is working.
Unfortunately now my gp prem theme is missing all customize options. I am waiting to hear back from GP with hopefully a resolution. So I can't customize my theme at all.

I am at a complete loss and am totally frustrated. 2 days with tech support to try and fix my issues. First it was the classic editor causing the problem, then it's the updated 5.6 wordpress so they had me role back wordpress. That didn't work so they then created a temp site for me so I could use the classic editor. Then it was I can't access the backend of the main site at all this am.
Now the site can't be viewed and they are saying a generate press theme issue and to contact them. HOLY MAN! My problems are just compounding.

Hi Coralie, I am using the new version of WP and recently generate press was updated. I have not run into any problems with the classic editor.
It seems you have done everything to fix the problem, just wondering if site support may have a fix.
Cleared cache, de-activated plugins re-booted computer tried different browser's.

Michael

Today site support is telling me it is the wordpress 5.6 update that is causing the trouble. So they suggest to go back to the previous version. I did that and reverted to 5.5.3 and my problem still persists, so I have no idea what the heck to do. It is happening on both of my sites.

Hi Coralie, you have done pretty much everything I would have done. You have done what site support suggested, but sometimes it depends on the other end. They could have just coughed out a theory, based on what you said. "The problem happened after the WP upgrade". I personally would push the issue with them even check with Kyle and Carson.
If you are comfortable PM me your login details so I can access your WA and WP dash and I can see what happens. This deals with trust and really there is no reason why you should trust me. It is all I can offer if all other methods do not work. The other person would be Chrystopher, he has a lot more knowledge than I do.

Best wishes,
Michael

Site support is still working on it and hopefully they will come up with something. Yes it seems like all my issues on both of my sites started with the wordpress update.
Seems like this should be an issue for more then just me if it is a wordpress issue.
Thank you for you assistance and I will touch base with your if site support doesn't find the issue.
Coralie

I am sure they will be able to fix the issue. Would appreciate an update.

Michael

Clear cache/cookies

already did that and even tried a new browser and still the same issue.

Uninstall and reinstall?

I'm not aware of any issues, are you getting an error message? Or are buttons greyed out etc? Or is it just not responding?

I get file not found error

Do you have a screenshot of where it says "File Not Found"?

Yes I do. Here it is

I have just tested one of my test sites that was still on WP 5.5, and it worked ok. Then I upgraded it to WP 5.6 and created a new post successfully. Then I updated a post successfully.

So WP 5.6 and Classic Editor are working ok. It, therefore, looks like it might be a conflict with another plugin.

Steve is also having the same issue

I am going through my plugins one by one and seeing if it helps, but no luck so far. I did a theme update for generate press. Not sure if the theme is the issue. It is happening on both of my sites. Both use generate press. If I deactivate my theme, will my settings come back when I reactivate it?

My test site that I have just used is running GeneratePress Version: 3.0.2, so that doesn't look to be the issue here.

Went one by one through my plugins and deactivated. then tried updating a post and still got the same error. The only one I didn't do was generate press premium as I am worried about losing my settings.
From research I have done there has been conflicts with Yoast, and I am wondering if it cold be my all in one seo. All I know is I can't function properly to edit posts without classic editor. I am stressing out because it is on both of my sites.

Steve has removed the LuckyWP Table of Contents plugin and it is now working for him. Do you have any similar plugins installed?

Deactivated each plugin and it classic editor still won't let me edit. Not a plugin or theme issue.

same version I am using.

I use Tiny MCE that was updated 3 days ago and is now called advanced editor tools. I am wondering if that has something to do with my issues. I deactivated it and it didn't fix my problems, but this new update seems to imply something about classic editor. I don't really understand it.

I did manage to find this, but am not sure if I should be doing this.
Do you know anything about his?

The screenshot is too small to read, sorry, could you send me the link to the post, and I'll take a closer look for you.

Can anyone recommend a website or advice on how to do sponsored blogging.

What do you mean by sponsord blogging?

Vitally G gives a good example

Sponsored blogging typically comes from people finding your site and reaching out to you to do guest posting/sponsored posting for you and vice versa.

This is easier to do when you have an established website, so I would recommend focusing on that first.

I literally get people asking me to do sponsored posting nearly everyday because of my site reaching a lot of people.

I thought there were websites that can help.I guess I was wrong. I understand what you are saying.

There probably are but most people dont usually trust any blogger, they need to see you have a site first before reaching out and vice versa.

You mean like guest post? Is that the same as sponsored blogging?

No it isn’t. Sponsorship posts are paid to do a blog/product review for a companies product.

Vitaliy answered that as well. Thanks for letting me know.

I just read Kyle's post on Google updates and site speed being a big part of that. I tested my speed for my sites and wow very slow. I then removed Medianet and Revenue Hits.

Haha yeah it's always something hey. Thanks Laura.

All of my sites are really really slow. I’m going to have to work on them. I don’t run ads so it’s not that.

Laura

Good question, I don’t know the answers but I would like to know.

Guess we will have to wait and see if anyone answers!
Thanks
