Rippln App - status update and other lies
Guess what - Update: The Rippln app is still NOT OUT as of August 6th, 2013.
BUT you can still player up and pay $70/year plus $25/month. Then you can start pitching a $300 coaching seminar to your ripple. If you have enough players that have also playered up buying this seminar and pitching this life changer to their ripples.. you may make some money. They are still tweaking the comp plan.. It has changed numerous times.. the first couple were blatantly illegal so they had to revise.
According to the top brass, they have spent millions of dollars on the technology and when it comes out..its going to change the world. They are telling their ripplners that they are part of a shift that will affect millions and millions. So many people will be able to have home based businesses that allow them the freedom to do anything they want..Does this sound like anything else you have been pitched?
Apps like Candy Crush? Really?
They claim the the rippln players will have access to apps like Candy Crush and get compensated every time it gets downloaded... and every time a person that downloads it in their ipple spends money on the app. This sounds good doesn't it?
Never heard of Rippln?
Many of you reading this may not have received an invite yet. You may not know anyone in the ripple yet. I have written on this topic a few times . I don't know anyone that is actively building the ripple. I have had some success converting researching googlers to WA through my reviews. We talk about the scams and schemes here at Wealthy Affiliate for a couple of reasons. The main thing is to keep the WA community from getting scammed. A lot of members are here because they researched a bad product and found this site.
I have 2800+ facebook friends. NO , I don't know all of them personally, but I do know the majority of them are connected to me through one of my niches. Out of the 2800+, only 2 of my friends have liked the facebook page. They claim 1.2 million users have signed up. Less than 82k (as of this post) have liked their page, despite the link at the top of the website and the many many emails they send out asking their users to like the page.. they can't get 10% of their users to like it... I am guessing its much easier to become a rippln user than it is a facebook member....I think they have a lot of fake accounts. I even had one of the user players come to my blog and say "Well I used my fake email account that I use for signing up on sites to get stuff, so I have no risk".. WOW! How many other useless emails accounts have been used to do the same thing?
I am a critic of the people in Rippln and one of the people that Rippln says will be very sorry for not getting in this thing.. Iam still passing on the ripple.

Typical - raking it in with the up sells. No wonder all those people are promoting it, I'd be trying to get back some of my money too incase Rippln sinks
Rippln is all over facebook. The way they are promoting it, it may stagnate membership wise within 18 months or so. I hope not for the people paying into it at the lower levels. Thanks for the update Bo.
Yeah, but facebook has started blocking some of the links. It is crazy. How long can they convince people to pay? I can't believe they are blaming delays on the Apple Hack.
Maybe there is legal wrangling going on behind the scenes, with the people/companies who've made the apps. Perhaps FB thinks Rippln is dodgy similar to when they banned EN for a while. How much is it to join anyway? Different levels?

I have not seen all the details of the comp plan, but I have seen some talking about the binary plan, where you have to have at least 2 legs ( ripple users) to pay and sell to get the money. I may be wrong.

I was looking at Rippln a couple of weeks ago. The tell tale sign of a scam deal is the massive over-promising prior to launch. I still find it amazing that people fall for the hype, but they tend to be serial failures in MLM, always looking for the next shiny thing.
This place is very much feet on the ground.
It is truly amazing that people are signing up and paying the fees with nothing to sell yet. They have said that the fees are non-commission-able. These guys are very good at what they do.. I do not want to get rich by scamming people out of their money. Scams like this and Empower Network are going to hurt a lot more people than they help.

Update: No longer $70/year and $25/month to player up.. Its now $95 one time activation fee and $30 month to use the system to get paid.... LOL
