I Have Decided to Say Goodbye Taking a Different Approach

The majority of you members have jobs working for other people and are striving for the day when you can finally fire your boss and work at home full time. Trust me that is an enjoyable feeling, and can easily become a way of life for many.

Well I have been my own boss, working from home, for the past 7 years. Rolling out of bed and sometimes taking advantage of wi-fi and working while in bed. Though I do love being able to work in my PJs if I want to, I have decided to say goodbye to that form of full time work.

WHAT? YOU THOUGHT I MEANT WA?

PLEASE! You should all know by now that I am here for life. No, I meant saying goodbye to being my own boss and working full time from home. I know that seems backwards to most, but to tell the truth, I miss conversing with other people that are in person rather than online.

No, I am not giving up my own online businesses but have decided to scale it back a bit. For starters I have begun to phase out my eBay business. This was actually my original plan when I first joined WA. I wanted to create an ecommerce website and quit selling on eBay to avoid all of the fees.

But then WA got me hooked on affiliate marketing and even my original plan of leaving eBay and starting an ecommerce site changed. Now I am making another change. Perhaps it will be for just a year or two, but I can say that during these past 2 weeks, I like this change.

WHAT AM I DOING NOW?

I get paid $70 CASH every day Monday to Friday ($350.00 per week) to drive a Lincoln Town Car Limo like the one above for a few hours helping people to get to and from their doctor and hospital appointments. The only difference from the car I drive is that mine has a sunroof.

Not only do I get to drive a luxury vehicle and get paid cash off-the-books, but I do not have to wear a suit and tie like the majority of limo drivers do, nor do I have to get out and help people in and out of the car. I am basically driving a luxury taxi, so-to-speak. The car also has a kick-ass CD stereo system.

TAKING A NEW APPROACH TO BUSINESS BUILDING

I do this driving around in Northern New Jersey in the morning hours and I am back home after lunch time, which is when I tend to my online business. I am now meeting new people, helping them with their medical transportation, and promoting my affiliate marketing websites to them.

So far I have a couple of people interested in WA and others to my Free Cancer Cure website. Naturally the latter is the most popular as I do transport several cancer patients. Though I do not see me doing this new gig for a long period of time, it has become a new way of getting people to my websites.

Seeing how half of the people I have transported in the past 2 weeks have been repeat riders, I am making connections and getting them interested in my websites. I even had a woman who is a media consultant, ask me if I wanted to join her on a free dinner boat cruise to network with others about my websites.

OPPORTUNITY COMES IN ALL FORMS

The point to all of this is that there is more opportunity out there that is not in the online space, where you can promote your online business. You do not have to rely solely on Google rankings or social media to get exposure and ultimately traffic to your website. Word of mouth still works pretty darn-good.

So I ask you these questions, are you promoting your online business to your co-workers? Is there someone you see often while traveling to or from work that you have shared your website with? Even if these people may not be the types that would be interested in your niche, they may know someone who would.

As for me, I got a little bit bored working solely from home for the past 7 years. I needed to add some new interaction with people outside of the internet marketing space. You would be surprised at how many interested people there are out there who would like to know about online marketing.

Start spreading the news of your affiliate websites and what your online goals are with people you know at work and around town. They may network you with some other interested people or take interest for themselves. You will never know until you speak up and tell people what you do.
