I am Lou, retired from England and living on a government pension, living in Thailand, been in affiliate marketing a couple of years.
I think if you are serious about internet marketing there is a lot of stuff you have to learn, it`s a massive learning curve, and a lot of people get disheartened if they don`t make any money in the first couple of weeks or lose a bit of money, it takes time to learn new things, I have plenty.
Even writing this is very difficult for me because if you are like me and are bit private about your life and stuff, you don`t want to tell the world about your private life, I know for younger people it`s easy because they are growing up with it, but if you want to move forward in your life and out of a rut if you like to Para a phrase! You have got to move with the times.
I have found out that I quite enjoy writing, and I like to help where I can, but I am not really into small talk, I think giving good information for stuff is good because people enjoy that, they are getting some value hopefully.

I was looking at your tremendous site, I will be putting a lot of that info on my kindle, I am a none stop reader.
Also; I was reading about that classified ad submission service, probably wouldn`t have bothered if I stumbled upon it in google, some of the ads are so spammy, but because it`s on a WA post I was checking it out.

One in BKK and another in Chiang Mai.
Classifieds are not too bad a way to get your site out there but after you do have a site up and running there is a tool I use and shared with the membership you can use as well.

One thing more - It’s a good idea (only if you want to) to click the 'Like' icon within a comment if you like it as I have done with yours.
Obviously you don't have to click every single comment or you will be here all day doing nothing but.
But to click the ones you like that are replies to your own comments will be reflected in your WA ranking because it shows you are getting involved with the community.

Lou, I totally understand the "privacy" bit. Oversharing will probably come back to bite many young people. That said, from a personal perspective, it's really no fun for me to actually research and write articles, unless I add my name to them. So... there's the quandary. lol.

There is a famous quote from Mark Twain:
"If it's your job to eat a frog, it's best to do it first thing in the morning. And if it's your job to eat two frogs, it's best to eat the biggest one first."
And that just means - do your hardest task first or at least as soon as you can in the morning. If you do this then the rest of your day is easy from there!
