Even At Wealthy Affiliate, Nobody Can Force You to Be Successful!
People building a real online business here at Wealthy Affiliate can give up way too soon. It could be a month, 2 months, or even 6 months and you'll see people quit.
Real businesses do take time and effort to learn the ropes, get everything in place and then get into profit.
With the training which is at your disposal here at Wealthy Affiliate, you can indeed be successful beyond what you could ever dream.
However, as I mentioned, people don't make money in their first few days, weeks, and months and think it's too hard.
It's not hard.
Create more content.
The traffic will build up over time as you become more of an authority in your niche.
Yes, there can be many authorities in the same niche, so don't let the word "competition" put you off.
Everyone's shooting for different keywords. This alone makes way for millions of "competitors" in your space while you still make a decent income.
Too many times I see people procrastinate for weeks before even publishing one post on their sites.
Do you know how many posts you could publish in those few weeks instead of procrastinating?
You could publish one a day if you really put your mind to it. (it's hard I know).
But really, the MORE content you have on your site, then the more traffic you're going to get.
It is INEVITABLE that you will start making money online.
It will get to a point where you cannot STOP making money online even if you wanted to.
Here's what I would do if I could go back in time.
I'd get out of my DeLorean in 2015 and create MUCH more content on my site than I actually ended up doing.
Why?
Because from experience, I know the more posts I've published, it pushes up my daily traffic another little notch.
Each post you publish is like a fishing line being thrown over the side of your boat (your boat is your website.)
Your keywords are your bait.
If you have lots of posts, that means lots of fishing lines with different bait on the end to entice those little fishies into taking a little bite.
And obviously, the more fishing lines you've cast over the side of the boat (and the faster you get it done), then the sooner you're going to be catching a lot of fish.
Be aware, not every fish you catch is going to be a whopper. Some will be little tiddlers and some will be medium sized.
Not to worry, keep casting new lines out with more bait (keywords) on each hook.
Don't be the guy who sails into the middle of the Pacific on his tiny boat and casts out just one fishing line with a chunk of bread on the hook.
You'll get nowhere like that.
Get your boat out to the nearest place you can, and start casting out those fishing lines with juicy bait on the hooks.
And then see if you can stop catching them fish.
Your boat will be so full you can't handle any more fish and have to come home and unload them before you can go out again. lol.
Anyways, that's just an analogy I like to use sometimes.
You need content.
One post every now and then isn't enough to cut it.
Set your goals for many posts a week. Not just one.
You'll get where you want to be a lot faster and you'll thank yourself for putting in the initial hard work.
You can take your foot off the gas pedal and outsource once the money's coming in.
Take it easy, get stuck in to the training, write some content on your site, and stop procrastinating.

Thank you Jimbo. A nail went into my ❤️ When I saw procrastinate before publishing. I spend more time writing and rereading and rethinking than is healthy. I have a backlog (backblog) of unfinished things .... How I envy being able to produce content of value consistently. Well, you lead the way and I will take your advice . Thank you for sharing that good energy. I feel it!
Like the anology Jimbo, and a formula that is at the heart of successful marketers strategies and one that is tried and true, no need to reinvent the wheel, just get those fingers tapping on the keyboard.
