Is Being Retired ,Aged ,Redundant or Unemployed the END

To evaluate these different scenarios are quite different yet also has so many similarities , so let us look at the areas of Retired ,aged, redundant or unemployed and see the situations we may find ourselves in.

Let us begin with the time when we are getting older and approaching the average retirement savings age or have just retired. This may have been planned and an enjoyable time if you have been preparing for this for some time but unfortunately a high percentage of retirees do not have enough money to sustain the life style that they have been use to during their working time.

Now if you have been made redundant then you are instantly unemployed this can happen at any age but the general trend worldwide is that companies if they have an opportunity because of a slight downturn will try to prune their workforce and unfortunately it is usually those that are over 45 which will be targeted regardless of if they are exceptionally experienced or qualified and as such is a complete shock as you are totally unprepared and in the same boat as the unprepared retiree or aged person.

What do you do?

As we are all very different how we handle and approach this situation can vary considerable such as some may view this situation as a “real kick in the guts”and could develop challenging health issues and then this spirals down further to very sad consequences.

Yet, others find it is just one more of life’s little hurdles that we need to accept and move on and find solutions which will solve the problems we are facing.

Finding work when these things happen to you can be a challenge but there is always somebody somewhere that needs assistance to do a job which they either do not want to do or cannot physically or intellectually do it.

I have found that when in this situation it is important to keep moving and always doing something somewhere as when you were working as I know their always were little jobs waiting to be done at home.

Always Keep busy.

While you are active doing stuff you will notice that your mind is reasonably contented but still evaluating what needs to be done around you in all areas of your life. It is important that when in this stage to write down some short term, medium term and long term goals that you want to aim for.

This is a key to maintaining your purpose and direction even if you are unable to see how you are going to achieve these goals it will be amazing what will happen to you.

Each day in the morning and last thing at night read these goals to your self and in the course of time with your brain continually working on ways to attain these goals will come up with all sorts of ideas, strategies and opportunities sometimes in fields you may not have ever have ventured into or considered, yet viable, good ideas.

Don’t ever give up in your quest to achieve what you have set out for yourself as you will succeed through perseverance and activation.

After all it has been said that if you have the courage to keep on forging on towards what seems like an impregnable wall as you get closer to it unbelievably and opening appears around ,over or through it.

Please never give up as things are never as bad as they first seem.
