Alright guys, so this has happened twice now and I would really appreciate some input on what is causing this.
My website is set up in a way where newer posts are kind of
Alright thanks for the input everyone. You're probably right that it is the google dance because my site is still new. I just thought it was peculiar that it happened twice under the same circumstances
It has nothing to do with your theme.
Sometimes known as the Google Dance (but only known by that name with me) a new site can cause Google to wonder what you are up to.
Just keep adding quality content and it will all settle down to the rightful rank eventually.
I believe it's because your site is still very new and is going through the Google dance. This kind of stuff will result in rankings jumping up and down for several weeks and even months depending on the niche. The best way to establish solid rankings is to keep writing quality content based on your niche.

Have you added the plugin for Google XML sitemaps? I wonder if that may slow the dance down!
