How to be prepared for a disaster
I'm an advocate for a #resilient life style.
#Resilience is my niche. I live on an island 3000 miles from the nearest resupply. I look at what happened to Puerto Rico and I know it can happen here in Hawaii.
How to be prepared for a disaster
Distaster can strike without warning. We can loose our job, loose our health, or be struck by natural disaster. It is up to you to eveluate your environment and be ready for whatever might happen. Emergency Preparedness people tell us in Hawaii to be prepared to take care of ourselves for at least two weeks. There will be now electricity for weeks. We must be indepenent of any kind of resupplies. Without power and transportation there will be no water, no food, no ATMs or banking, no medicine and 80% of our homes will be destroyed by a Cat 3 hurricane.
What is your risk?
Evaluate what can happen to you and how likely it will be to happen. Depending on El Nino, 0-15 hurricanes pass withing 300 miles of Hawaii. A major hurricane stikes our island about once a decade. I've survived two in the 40 years I've lived here. It is something I have to prepare for.
How well I can prepare depends on my income. If I have the money I can build a home that will survive a storm and stock it with provisions to supply my families needs for a year. Unfortuately, most of us live pay check to pay check and cannot afford to stock up on anything.
Why I am here at WA
That is why I am here at WA. I need the income, the passive, continuing income, to live comfortably and be able to respond to any emergency. Internet Marketing (IM) can provide that income. Can you think of any other strategy that can provide you passive income from multiple source? IM can provide an infinite income. All you have to do to scale up is add another evergreen website to your portfolio.
Moving forward
Sure it will take work, but isn't an unlimited passive income you can depend on worth the effort. I think so and that is why I am here at WA. I will prove IM is the best path to personal and financial resilience. I looked back at a similiar post I wrote three years ago. I still don't have the success I want, but I have learned a heck of a lot here at WA, I know what to do and 2019 is the year it is all going to come together.
You know what you have to do to be successful. Do it every day and live the life you dream of.

It is very worth it, and I have always enjoyed helping others find this avenue also. Before Wealthy Affiliate, I spoke about multiple streams of passive and nonpassive income. Passive is the best in relation to freedom to do many other things in our life that time restraints of a normal 9-5 do not give us. I listened to a speaker today talking about not looking back unless it is beneficial to move forward. Forward movement gets us closer to the finish line.

2019-2020 are going to be great years for me, too.
I now know my way around WA and have started placement of 'my ducks in a row' so to speak.
Being financially 'resilient' is the key and yes, WA is a very good vehicle to reach financial goals.
