I changed my niche half-way through the course .
So I got to Course 3, Lesson 5 on the training when something dawned on me - I actually disliked/hated the niche I started at the beginning of the course. Why did I choose it? Well, it was a niche that I thought would work well. Except that when I got down to the nitty-gritty, there wasn't all that much I could write apart from mundane product reviews (and even those I hated doing). I wasn't enjoying it at all.
So I bit the bullet. I changed my niche, found something I enjoyed writing about, set up a new website, and got on with it. And boy, am I glad I did. No more worrying about what to write. I even quickly re-scanned the course again, up to the point I left off last time, just to make sure I hadn't missed anything.
The moral of the story here? Well, if you even have the slightest doubt about the niche you have chosen and your ability to write for the niche, change it. Bite the bullet, like I did. You will not regret it.
I am happier now, and looking forward to continuing the Course with renewed vigour. Onwards and upwards :)
(By the way, if anyone's interested, my new niche is the site that is second on the list on my website list. Let me know what you think.)

Great decision! You certainly don't want to work on something that you don't really enjoy. Gotta go with your passion :-)
That was a wise decision...it's like some people get into the wrong work and hate their life and of course no one else wants them to be there....
No good continuing with something you hate - much the same as working in a "real job" that you hate. Glad you're happier with your new niche

Yes I did the same thing a few years back and so glad I did. My only regret is I didn't keep the other website because now I know how to resurrect it properly and it had good search volume too. Darn.
