Business Cards Won't-Will Work And Other Things That Help-Hinder Success
I had a friend who was extremely successful in Florida upscale real estate sales. I asked him once, what the secret was for him.
He told me that everyone in real estate gets 2,000 business cards when they start. Most people struggle along for 3 years or so and still 1,850 cards left. He said he had to order more cards after 6 months.
He went places where he knew he would run in to people and always gave them a card.
Whatever we do, if we do it with all our strength, we will succeed!

I put a qr code on the back of my business cards so that one scan takes them directly to my site.
It's funny how quickly people forget about the power of networking. I literally just officially registered my LLC and within the first week, just from networking, I picked up 3 new clients. Great point!
I print my own business cards and I put 2 QR codes on the back so anyone who has my card can visit two of my websites on their mobile device. Business cards work in the online world as well as offline provided we hand them out like your real estate friend. ~Marion

Good advice, it is something to consider especially when they are so cheap to order nowadays.
In the career I chose I didn't come into contact with anywhere this many people. But the remaining cards were very useful for writing notes on when I was without my diary.
So BigDaddyFred, should we print up some business cards with our new website on it and hand them out whenever we meet people? :))
No, I understand the principle. Focus on your goals and go to where you will succeed.
Business cards always will work. Or won't work. Just like all the e-tools we have now, will/won't work. But I get your point too. I guess the blog is to warn against the foolish thought that it doesn't take work if you have the right tools......
