I climbed a metaphorical mountain the last 2 days, with my first article. It was bigger than I originally anticipated, but now Im in this gentle meadow trying to decide which one of these mountains am I going to conquer today.

I'm so sorry you did, chris. But along the way, we face mountains of different sorts that are meant to make us better in what we are doing. Sometimes, we come to the meadow to get the much needed rest and regain our strength to move on. You'll get through this. Keep going with perseverance until you get to the top. Praying for you.
Success dose not come without obstetrical to overcome and mountains to climb. It allow us to gain experiences and knowledge to overcome them whenever we face them in our progress. Thanks for the wise post Betcha. Its very inspirational to me.

Hello Betcha! There is something i learned many years ago as a manager of many people that has to do with climbing the mountain..........Always work as a team with others to climb that mountain because if one is greedy and selfish, stepping on others dreams to get there, it is not worth the climb because once you make it you realize you are alone. I will climb that mountain also and lets all do it as a team so when we arrive at the top, we can all share the happiness together!!!!!
I have a personal goal joining WA......Everyone always points to scams and there is a lot of them, lets make this legitamate and realize that only the bad reviews come from those whom are not willling to make the hard and long journey to success. Enough said!! :)

Loved this great metaphor. I write in metaphor a lot and I agree with your analogy. So many climb to the top but then stumble and lose their footing and quickly tumble back down the other side. We see this so often especially when fame is involved. I guess we need more people like Steve Jobs who kept his humanity in spite of all his success. Kudos to an insightful blog. Blessings.
