Turns out that my niche is a little too specific for finding good images. Here are the sites that I am currently using for images:
unsplash.com
pixabay.com
nos.twnsnd.

I have issues finding suitable images with a fairly broad niche! I also find that if I reread the post right before my search I am able to find an image that says what I want to say. For me, it is usually my frame of mind.
With your niche- you surely are challenged! I see some excellent suggestions!

I use Pixabay a lot, but it may not have too many of the images you need.

Last year I made a list of all sites people are using here on WA

So good.

There are two that I use beautiful free images, and if you pay it is usually minimal.

I hope you find this helpful.
cheers.

thanks for the help Sheree!

PJ lists a few more sites here - try some of them

Thank you! I will check that out now. I appreciate your help.

Thanks again, I did find some images that I can use upon your suggestion.

That's great! PJ has shared a lot of really good info. I have bookmarked a large portion of it, lol.

I am writing a tutorial series about building websites that I would like to entitle "How To Build A Website For Dummies". I am concerned though that this might violate some law

Well, due to not wanting to take any unnecessary risks I decided to see if I can find some different keywords as this is the keyword phrase that I was targeting with these articles.

Good news is that I think I have found some "low hanging fruit" keywords that I can easily replace "For Dummies" with so I'm going to use those ones instead.

Thank you for your answers. They helped to kind of nudge me in the right direction.

It sounds like you've made the right decision. When unsure about copyrights it's always best to err on the side of caution.

Not sure about this one. I don't know if Wiley can claim their rights are violated everytime somebody uses that phrase. What their trademark does though is you have to mention their company if what you refer to is their ''xxxx For Dummies" line of products. Besides they don't use the "'How to... " part so that differentiates it further in my eyes. Maybe if you planned to make a line of product that would be a problem. This is just my opinion though...

yes you might. what about "How to build a website for complete idiots"

After writing my 'About Me' page, I decided not to focus so much on a site about scams as I feel that I can leverage my knowledge of how to build websites much more efficiently

Go to editor and it's ok to change content. Many people are constantly changing keywords to try and rank their page better. Hope this helps

Ok that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the quick response.
