3 Years and Still Swimming

Last Update: January 05, 2021

It's been 3 years since I joined WA and I'm wondering if I'm still swimming in the middle of the pack or am I starting to break out?

I remember learning so much, like drinking out a fire hose, when I first started. Now, my learning has slowed to a more manageable pace for the long race.

I say that because we all know this is really a marathon instead of a sprint.

I have created several websites and found some of them to be failures, and I have now built several that have a lot of promise. I have continued to research and have seen web creators on a similar path to success, which seems to be blowing through the 1-year mark and not looking back.

I know to many people get discouraged and fall off probably between the 3 to 6 month time frame, and I wonder if the Google trust is set out around 9 months at that 100% mark to account for this.

The bottom line for me and what I really want all of you to hear is that I am more excited than ever about my future here at WA and with my websites. This can be a tough road but I have found a lot of joy and satisfaction in what I am building, and now others around me can see that this wasn't a get rich scheme, as they originally thought it was.

We're building a business here, surrounded by the hope for freedom from our jobs and a brighter future.

With that said, I encourage you to find enjoyment in what you're creating and keep your eyes on the mountain tops in the distance and don't worry about any valleys you will encounter along the way.

Building something that lasts takes time Rick. The better the fouindation the longer it takes but the greater the rewards.

We're so glad to hear you are here for the long haul.
Never thought about the Google trust at the 9 month timeframe.
Interesting thought.

Since the last Google update we know that we were treated very well. So what that says is that Content continues to be King.

We wish you much continued success.
