I removed a simple banner from my website, but it still shows on mobile. Any thoughts ob how to make sure it doesn;t show on mobile??
You may need to empty the browser cache, refresh, and try again. You can also try the URL in a different browser or mobile device.
You can also empty the server's cache.
Websites > Site Manager > Details > Sitespeed > Empty site cache

You may also want to check your Appearance > Customize in mobile view and see what's happening there.

Recently I made some changes to my website, but these changes are not being picked up on my linkedIn profile website link...
Any thoughts??
May be a silly question, but have you verified the URL is correct on your Linkedin page?
Yes its correct. I've also just discovered the problem is only with mobile devices. I went on to LinkedIn via my laptop and it looks fine. Not sure how to remedy the issue
Something like that has happened to me with mobiles. It was a caching issue and it was solved by clearing my cache. Also, in my case, I was the only person able to see the issue at the time. It loaded fine for everyone else. Have you attempted to view it on mobile while in incognito mode?
I hadn't but I just tried incognito per your suggestion and it looks fine in that mode.
Thank you for the suggestion
We are here to help one another. Let me know if you get it solved and your solution. I am ever so curious about these things.
Eureka! I have found the solution. I removed the app from my iPhone and reinstalled. Problem solved!!! Who’d a thunk it??
That is awesome. This leads me to believe it was a caching issue. I hope it works for you going forward without incident.
Good Luck
Michael

I continue to get this message when I try to serch keywors in Jaaxy.
"Oops, we seem to have run into an issue with your search, please try again"
Has anyone else
Hi Dan,
That will just happen when you arrive into Jaaxy, it should work if you then perform a search. I have reported this issue. :)
I had this issue happen to me too, log out and log back in again. Clearing your cache like TheAbiePPlus mentioned is recommended.
Jaaxy is working here. I just tried. You may want to clear your cache and try again. Or else try in a new browser.
Issues when sesrching for keywords in jaaxy?

A client wants me to build him a website. Can I do this for him through my account with WA. I would build it and manage the content and he will pay me a fee. Is this doable her
You can, but don't share your WA password as you only have one, which is yours.
If they need access, they can head to
[domain].com/wp-admin, but you have to fetch their credentials via the site manager.

Other than post reviews and adding a link, what other methods have you found effective?
You have FANTASTIC responses here; kindly let us know if you require additional assistance.
Dan! :)
If you have an email list, that can be quite effective. You can also promote via social media. I've seen that do quite well. Do you have a Deals page on your site? Site visitors often like to check that out, because everyone loves a deal!
The best thing is if you have a list of relevant customers and prospects, promote directly (and enthusiastically) to them. Otherwise, you might like to try PPC, if the affiliate commission will support it.
And the merchant allows PPC of their offer. Most merchants will consider WA publishers as content publishers, so seeing them all of a sudden start doing PPC will be a surprise and could create issues.
Thanks for the thought, Jeannine but I'm not sure how they'd become aware of it. Any PPC campaigns that I run direct responders to a landing page on my website and it's that page that has the affiliate link. If the vendor wanted to track the link back to its source, it would be to my website.
Are you saying that some people would put the affiliate link in their PPC ad? That would seem so obviously wrong that I've never even considered it as a possibility.
Responsible merchants and networks do monitor for these activities, and depending on the terms of the programs, can be a reason for removal from the merchant's program.

Probably a caching issue. Abie's advice should help.

You're welcome, Dan. There's a lot to take in.
