Google destroys the genuine website maker.
I now really wonder what is the value of looking for information on the internet.
So most of the searches go by google. Google has a lot of rules that determine what searching people get presented.
case a: If a genuine guy makes a simple website, but presenting real information, the searcher will never get that information.
Case b: the informed person makes a website that has the right keywords from jaaxy, google analytics, google webtools, the right affiliate links, the right training to influence people. Then he lures the customers. And google likes this apparantly: it gives a big revenue, although they say officially they like to point people to the right information.
Case c: I looked for a new photo camera online, and I used google. I decided not to buy a camera then, but google depicted a camera on every website I checked. Did not matter what website, but a camera offer was displayed every day, on most websites. I already bought a camera in a local shop but i forgot to tell Google (sorry google, I also make mistake).
Case d: I think that google is not at all interested to give the normal searcher the best information. It looks only for the most professional marketer, and keyword export the opportunity to rip off the normal searcher. If a genuine person makes a website, he never cares about searching for the right keywords. And then google says: you are stupid because you did not follow our rules.
Case e: Google is a member of the council of foreign relations. So not very in favor of normal human relations.
After having shown this information, I realize that maybe Google will not like me so much in the future. Does not matter, I was never looking for the popularity prizes.
At the end, what only counts is what the share holders of Google get for their investments.
Unfortunately I do not think that there will be an independant search engine in the future. That is because it does not make money. And if it does not make money, the money making companies will always rise above.

Very Very excellent points.
I see that the marketing world needs to change as well. I often look through site within my niche and find the top performers and highest ranking are just keyword stuffing their articles and their work is never that helpful.
I am fond of just writing great content and letting it ride on its own. While I will use keywords to get better rankings, I refuse to stuff my articles so full of them that they make little or no sense and are of little use.
I rarely rank near the top on any keywords I use because I really do not care that much about it. There are better ways to get traffic and Google will find this out at its own demise if it does not soon pay attention that people are more interested in good information than they are in advertisements that give them nothing.
Keep on with what you are doing and you will see. The kind of audience you wish to build takes longer this way but it is also a loyal audience and will grow in time.

I am advertising beauty products using this network.
I don't entirely relies on Google. I use Yahoo, Bing or Ask to drive traffic to my sites.
Interesting perspective.
I see things a bit different - google is attempting to supply the reader (me - when I search) for the best information in regards to my search query.
Now, I wonder and maybe you can tell me how Google makes money from my website that I made here at WA? And if I made one outside WA?
See, to me, Google is trying to match search query with quality results.
At the end of the day no matter online or in your local camera shop it is and always will be "buyer beware". You have some pretty sleezy shop owners that could easily steer you wrong in your camera purchase decision just as if you bought online.
When I am the buyer I search in stores and on the web. I do my research and can typically tell when a site - or a clerk is giving me crap. Then I make my informed decision to buy and look for best price/service.
I think Google has gotten way better at refining searches and do not feel they are pushing me toward the best marketer.
ROCK ON!

This is so true! So much of the crap that comes up when I search for something is just ad-padded, leading-on garbage. I am starting to expect to have to go a few pages back for the "quality" Google claims to be sorting for. -Alexx
