Hi couldn't find the answer elsewhere. If you are a premium member and i want to transfer a domain to WA from godaddy or namecheap does it cost any me any money to transfer or
Transferring the registration of the domain name costs the same price as a renewal because an extra year is added on to the registration period.
Pointing the domain name servers to Wealthy Affiliate's hosting is free and the hosting itself is included in your premium membership. Transfer a Domain Name, Move a Website
Yes, you'll have to pay an additional year registration but that will be tacked onto the current expiration date.
Another option you have is to simply point the domains here and then worry about transferring them once they near renewal.

If you still have the better part of a year left at where ever your domain is parked at now or just can't afford it at the moment than you could save yourself some money as well as take WA servers for a spin, for free, to see what you think about it before making any final decisions.
But yeah, other than pointing back to WA NameServers, you'll have to flip the bill for a years worth of Domain Registration Fees as stated by the others before me.
Being that you find yourself in the position to test it out for free you might want to compare to see which performs the best.
That's just me, though! I'm weird like that.

Does .net rank the same as .com?
i hoping so. i'm up to 10 posts thus far and should have 2 more up by sunday. Goal is 100 quality posts (900-1200 each) by April.
Hi Barry,
I believe Kyle mentions in the training that a .com will usually rank slightly better than other TLD's.
My thoughts are that people normally think in terms of .com and may make the mistake of going to a site that may be your competition.
Personally, I would never use a .net or .org if the .com is already taken.

Hey Guys,
I've read from a lot of different places about setting up membershp site for their niche and wondering what people's experience is on membership sites. Please
I sell an online course that helps people start a cleaning business. The training is accessible in a membership area. It was a lot of work but it's automatic now. When someone buys, they create a login and are given immediate access. I don't have to do anything.
There's no way I could have done this when I first started here 2.5 years ago. I haven't sold as many as I hoped for at this stage. Still trying to find the right combination to blow it up.
Good luck on your journey.
It is a lot of work and brings on a ton of other issues and responsibilities. I wouldn't start with one for sure. One thing to keep in mind is that you must always ensure having top notch content that makes the membership fee worth it. That's huge pressure.
Yes it's huge pressure. I was thinking about having a niche specific forum that discussion area and also a weekly or monthly training. I wouldn't start it until i have at least 6 months of content ready for lead time on creating new content.

Hi, I have WA email set up through outlook and outgoing emails are being received but no inbound emails are coming in. I also checked webmail and its not coming in there eit
Hi, Barry, sound like a configuration problem. Have you got the right password for both incoming and outgoing mail? If you have port 25 in outgoing mail, try changing it to 587, it sometimes works.
Check that the email address in your account setting is the same as in your incoming/outgoing mail.
If you are still having problems, try switching to gmail. Hope this helps.
Out going mail isn't the problem. They are being recieved from both outlook and the webmail client. The problem is when a reply is sent no email is being received in outlook or webmail. Using webmail should have any configurations problems as it was already set up. How do i resolve?
Hi, Barry, not sure exactly what the problem is. If you are not receiving emails in your inbox in outlook or webmail, it is more than likely the smtp settings in outgoing mail are configured wrongly.
If sending emails is the problem it is more than likely a wrong hostname, email address, or password are the culprit. If these are ok you should have received a way of confirming you are the sender. Not sure about outlook, but in gmail they provide a link to click on.
I had problems with outlook, Since switching to gmail, no problems, and far more flexibility. Hope this helps.
