Don't Bother Looking - you already know

I am such an ass!

Why do I even bother to look at my stats - for example here on WA?

There really is no point because I already know from the infomation on my dashboard what it going on. At this point of my SAC (Super Affiliate Challenge) exactly zero is going on. The few views I get are irrelevant.

What is important is referrals, and even then they may just be what we call "tire kickers" here in New Zealand.

More important are the $ sign and green number next to the plane.

Did I tell you I only have 300 sign-ons to go to get to Vegas 2020?

NO? - well trust me only 300 to go.

Some Planes Have Already Landed in Vegas For the 2020 Event!

As far as I know at least 2 people have already achieved Vegas qualification - truly amaziong and more importantly clearly doable.

I've just been reading some of Jerry's amazing achievement and that man is generating serious traffic.

(note to self: Jerry does not generate that sort of traffic by checking his stats every 5 minutes Lawrence - maybe you should do the groundwork he did.)

That's it for now.

You Are Not Cleared for Take-off (do not taxi on to the runway until advised to do so)

I will not be looking at my stats again until that plane get's a pilot and crew.
And a few passengers ...

Hi Lawrence
Mine is on 299 so I hope the tank fills up too my friend
Imagine the fun we would have
Keep believing and growing
Vicki

299 - you're clear to start warming up the engines.

Ah, yes, how well I understand! My airplane also says "300" and if I were the sort to say "this doesn't work" and quit, I would do so. I feel like I am missing something. I've learned so much, but somewhere along the way I've missed a link. Wish someone could tell me what it is. I just feel like if I hang in there long enough and do my best to get the work done, things will change. Wish someone would tell me what I'm doing wrong...asked Jay to look at my site; even remembered to send him a link, but he has not answered. Why isn't it working yet?

Hi Fran
You started just after me and I have had 12 refs come through and only 2 who have gone premium and one was last year so my plane is not moving either.
All we do my friend is keep trooping along doing what we do and the people will come eventually
Remember if you keep putting out some bread more and more birds will come

Boy, I hope you are right and they show up before I run out of bread...lol...

Love the humour Fran
I am sure they will my friend

The key is consistency. How many articles have you written? Are you publishing 2-3 per week? Are you targeting low hanging fruit keywords? How is your keyword placement? Is the keyword in the url, title, and first paragraph? How long is your content? Are you sharing each post after publishing? Are you requesting a good number of comments for each post? Are your posts filled with internal and external links? Are there call to actions in your content? Is your content easy to read?

All these things make up the user experience. When your content is the answer to your target audience’s searches and you provide them with a consistent quality user experience, the referrals come :)

All valid points Eric.
I am not quite doing 2-3 articles a week
I have all the keywords (low hanging) in the right places and both internal and external links plus try to include one video per post but don't always achieve this.
I do not share each post after publishing or ask for comments because my experience with comments is they have been of a rather low quality from fellow WA members. All nice comments but nothing substantial or anything I can build on. The time taken to read them and ultimately reject them (which I hate doing) just doesn't seem worth it.
Call to action - check.

Maybe I should share my posts for comments.

Thanks for popping by and commenting on Fran's points that also happen to be mine.

I guess we both have to bite the bullet and do more with comments this month. The training tells us to.

I just wish people would leave pertinent comments. Even ones that disagree are preferable to the "I learned so much from this post" type comment.
I just think if you're going to comment then make it a decent comment.

I love it!!!! Straightforward and to the point. Doesn't get better than this.

Laura
