Just When I Hit My Stride He Stuck His Foot Out!
Have you ever had a run in with that guy? He has many names. He wears many faces. He is very strategic in determining when to pop up. Sometimes he will wait to pounce when you "hit your stride".
He will sometimes even kick you when you are down.
I refuse to honor him by calling his name. In fact, I refuse to respect him at all.
Just When I hit my stride
I worked on a review of a real internet job from home on Tuesday before heading out to the daily grind. I had made major progress. All I needed to do was add some graphics and hit "publish".
He Stuck His Foot Out
I came in this morning tired from work but determined to add the final touches and post. But I couldn't access the back office. I tried everything. I could read emails. I could reply to posts. But as soon as I logged into the back office my computer would freeze up.
I refused to give up. I'm a fighter. But, I sat the computer down for a little while in part because I was physically drained. Then a few minutes later I decided to do a system restore. Now, I don't know if that is very healthy for the computer. But when it was done I was able to access the back office. I was able to complete and publish my review and I am on top of the world again.
We are bigger than him!
Where there is a will there is a way!
Have you had an experience with that guy you'd like to share? Surely, you had a positive outcome?

We are indeed bigger than computer glitches, computer goofs, that computer guy we refuse to honor with a name. I am glad to hear you refused to give up and now on top of the world. You do encourage me onwards!
Yes, I have experienced similar things. That computer guy seems to know it's me - sitting in front of it. Because it knows it can get away with things and goof off because I am so techy challenged.
I ask my computer whiz hubby to help me fix an issue. And Voila! Before my dear hubby even touched the keyboard, the issue is resolved. The computer behaves itself. It knows it can't get away with anything, when there is a computer trouble shooter sitting there, staring at the screen. My husband looks up at me, and says, 'what was the problem?' I am dumbfounded because I can see, right before my eyes, that computer guy - we won't even name: just poof, go away and disappeared!
But I am learning and have a few techy tricks up my sleeve now. That computer guy just can't get away with as much as it used to with me. I am learning 'computer smarts'. And hopefully, touch wood, (that is, if I can find wood because my computer desk is plastic) that computer guy will not come back again, in my computer.
I will overcome my techy challenges, at least not let them stop me.
And I will stay focused on my goal of developing an online home business. I will succeed!
And when you can't figure it out yourself there is this amazing community out there that is willing to jump in at a moments notice. How sweet it is.
Glad you were able to figure it out and all the best and better days to come.
Wow! What a break you got! Good for you, It sure is frustrating when you lose hours of hard work by losing your post/document.
YAY.........give him back to hell;.......lol.......go you :-)) looking forward to the post hun :-)) xox

OIh, t does happen. And he usually looks for our weak places to get us.He can't get us when we are strong and through our strong areas, usually not...
Good you still managed to get your stuff finished...:)
Oh, Greer, yes!
Today he told me to be afraid, that I'd have no money after I returned from my vacation this fall, that I should shiver and start racing around trying to prevent what he sees as a sure thing......
Even though I can already see parts of solutions sure to come my way.....
He doesn't like that........
Oww YES, I know him very well, but I have beaten him by buying a new laptop and burned him together with the old laptop, he is back in hell again;)
