Do I have to write SEO Title, Keywords and Description even if I got All in One SEO?
Hi,
I have been wondering about that question for a very long time now. I've finished getting started courses already but I don't know if I just missed it but I am still not clicking those little pencils. Afraid that it might affect my SEO, meta tags or something which to be honest I'm really not familiar with.
Thanks in advance!
Jezz

No, you do not have to fill any of that information in if you use the All-in-One SEO.
I never fill mine in and I do just fine with my high Google rankings. The All-in-One SEO does it all for you automatically.
Thanks! How have you been doing Robert? I noticed you haven't been doing your Sunday Laughter and Learning blogs. Maybe I missed the announcement that you were putting these on hold.
Yes, you missed my announcement at the beginning of January when I said that the Sunday blogs would be posted every first Sunday of the month. I am busy writing content and need that extra time.
Thank you so much Robert. This is what I needed to hear. Thanks also to Tanya and to others as well. I am really confused about it for a long time and correct me if I'm wrong but these were not discussed in the courses right? Because the All in One SEO does it all. That's why Kyle doesn't have any training on it specifically filling those up.
Many thanks!
I do agree with Paul, do the training again, every time I go back, I find a new information which did not get my attention first-time :).
Most people I have talked to who have been in the business a long time have advised me not to fill these sections in. The only section you may want to manually enter is the description if you can't naturally fit your keyword in the first sentence or 2. Then scroll down and write a sentence containing your keyword.
I suggest you go back and do the training again because if you missed this you have missed many things - I did mine three times and I still missed things
Short answer - Yes
Your AIO is there to notify the search engines that you have done your SEO and based on that information will depend on your listing and rank.
Have a nice day.
Robert

Add meta title and meta description.
Forget meta keywords, this is not used at all. Some themes do not even have the box for it.
You did not miss anything in lessons, no need to go there again. It is simply that Kyle left this for Google. The reason is that Google does not accept always what you add as a meta title and meta description, so this may be useless work. However, I always add them, again: only meta title and meta description.
