Oops, I took the Red Pill! - Part 2

So I've been at it here for a little more than three weeks now. All I can say is WOW! The training is awesome and concise. The support is immeasurable in terms of dollars. The cameraderie with fellow WA members is overwhelmingly awesome. Now that I've had some time to explore the rabbit hole while working on building and monetizing my website(s), I can only give this advice to new members, and to those who may suffer the same affliction as me. Stay Focused!
This WA wonderland is so full of new information and powerful tools, it's so very easy to get off-track and sidelined from the training. I don't suffer from ADD, at least I don't think I do. But let me tell you, there are days that I've been worried about myself. LOL
So, If there is one thing that I can tell my fellow WA Academy students, it would be to "Get Focused". Don't be distracted by ALL the other countless things going on in inside WA. Set down a learning time period, and stick with it. This doesn't have to be totally rigid, but at the very least set a time and commit to it.
Forget about the "Notifications" and "Chat" and get yourself laser focused. Oh... and turn off your email. That one gets me every &%*##% time . Once you apply these basic rules I believe you'll begin to experience more in the way of progress, and will get you closer to the finish line more rapidly.
I must confess though, I've not mastered the focus part yet, but I'm working on a plan that works for me and only I would understand and implement. Yours may be quite different, and that's fine. Just do what makes sense and works for you.
I'll be joining in on the WAbinar video training later today where Jay (magistudios) will be helping us to stay productive and ignore the shiny objects while building our business. I'm hoping (fingers crossed) it can also be applied to our training, and building our online businesses here within Wealthy Affiliate.
