Hi friends,
I have come across so many useful blog posts/lessons here at WA, that I just want to save for reading later, or that I have read and would like to come back to

Yes, you can check the little star on your left and add your preferred tag, let's say in this case "to read later" and then come whenever you want and search in your favorites saved under that tag

Thank you so much for the tip! This will help me so much. Have a great day.

You're welcome!

There are a few ways of doing it.
1) Bookmark it to your browser. Create one folder for WA so it it easy to find it later.

2) You can use tagging system in WA. On top of each blog, there is a white star > click it > Tag it to something you can recognize later. i.e. Blog-SEO

You can easily find it later by clicking the white start at the right side of the search column on top of your dashboard. After clicking the white star, it turns yellow and all items that you tagged earlieer are there for you to find.

Hope that helps...

:)
Joe

Awesome. I actually really wanted to do this after I read your blog post this morning on WA ranking #1 in google. That's what drove me to ask the question. Thank you!

Thank you for taking your time to read it and comment. Appreciate it.

I would like to move my website from SBI to WA. I understand I have to copy the content from my pages one by one. My question is about where should I build those pages. Should

Hey Emvia,

If you Google search "convert HTML to wp" (without the quotation marks, of course) you will find several tutorials to choose from.

You can also search using WordPress spelled out rather than "wp" as I have it in my example.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond to my question. I really appreciate it. I already looked into some of those tutorials and they're all very general and not specific to Wealthy Affiliate. I should probably search some more. But what I'm not clear on which I think is Wealthy Affiliate specific is whether to build my pages on a siterubix website, or whether site support has some other method like an "add-on site" I saw in one of the tutorials. I guess I have another question. Are all questions posted to a classroom? It struck me a bit odd that that's where my question was posted since I submitted to "site support".

Hey Emvia,

WordPress does NOT change because it is installed on WA servers. It is the same no matter what server it is installed on.

The SiteRubix is the free version, so if you do NOT have a registered domain ... and you're not sure of the niche you've selected, using SiteRubix (the free version) can save you money. For example, I selected four different niches before I settled on two... and even then I ended up merging the 2 sites into one new site.

Though registration of a domain name is not all that expensive, SiteRubix can save you a lot of unnecessary expenditure.

If you stick with Kyle's lessons you will have no reason to become confused. It's only those of us who try going it alone that end up frustrated.

On the left-hand sidebar, you should see "Get Started Here", and that is where you should focus your learning on until you have completed the course.

All of us members try to help each other out by answering what questions other newer members may have. This tends to make this community pretty awesome to be a part of, wouldn't you say?

Hope this helps you.

yeah the community is great! And quite addictive :)

I am conflicted. I have a website that I am hosting somewhere else and I have renewed for one year. But I am so in love with WA so far and want to move my website over to here.

I would second followzhao's suggestion.
I believe it is HTML site (not wordpress). 25 visitors per day - are they converting to anything?

Create a new site here in WA. If it is going to be the same or related niche, you could leverage your existing site by building links directing your visitors to the new site here in WA and benefit from it i.e. not losing them altogether.

All the best.

:)
Joe

Thank you

Yes it is html. Not much income. My new site here is not really related to my old site. This is great advice.

Personally, I wouldn't transfer them all to WA. You can learn and use most of WA's stuff without transferring your site here anyway. 25 visitors a day will become a lot more as you continue to produce content, 25 visitors means 25 potential customers!!!

you are right. Being on here has made me realize how seemless (not easy) everything can be

There are many options what to do. You can transfer your website without using WordPress or transfer it integrating to WordPress platform. Actually, you can use your skills and promote your website using that hosting as well. What platform do you currently use? Something like WordPress or any CRM like Joomla?

It is not like WP at all. Al the content in little boxes

It might be a headache to transfer the site to Wordpress.

Check out this training Marion did. It isn't nearly as complicated to transfer a site as you might think.

Thank you I will check it out now.

Marion's training is for wordpress sites. Unfortunately, her site is not in wordpress (based on her statement).

Yes it is not a wordpress site. So it would be much harder.

How much money have you paid the other hosting? If it is not that big, then treat your investment like you just went for a lunch with someone. Then, concentrate on here and build an equally good site in here.

Thank you for your comment. I have paid $150. I've never paid that much for lunch. Haha. But you make an interesting point. I guess I am more confused as to whether 25 traffic is no big deal.

Is that 25 organic traffic?

What's organic traffic? (covers eyes)
