When will I have traffic to my website

My website eaglenfalcon.org is all about yoga and I have written 28 posts with good quality content but traffic to my website is very slow and my site is on position 55.9 even though all my posts are indexed in Google.

Are 28 posts not enough? What else can I do to generate traffic?

I need some help here please.

If your site is only ranking averaging 55 then you won't see much traffic. I recommend that you look closely at the posts you have created.
Check the keywords that Jaaxy is finding on the 28 posts. (Use the URL search in Jaaxy).

Check out Jay's tutorials on SEO for your site. I haven't had any problem ranking posts using Jay's methods. ( My site has fewer posts than yours)

Thank you - I will do this and see how it works, very useful information I feel.

It only searches the first pages of the search engines? I mean, when your overall site rank is at 55 why would you even bother?

Or am I missing something?

Hello
I am afraid I do not understand what you mean. If I am on position 55, then nobody will get to my web page as they have to scroll down on 54 other pages.

Position 55 is only on page 5 (10 results per page). Still, not too many people will scroll through to page 5 so this is why your traffic levels are low. Work on your SEO and the rankings should improve.

Thank you again!

Hello Tom, thanks for your reply - I will continue writing posts and try my best.

Diane has the down and dirty answer to your question.
I'm at 30 posts and 9 months and I have the same problem you do.

Gotta keep writing!

Thanks for pointing this out - lots of work ahead!

No problem. looks like we both have a lot of work to do.

You are not alone. I have almost the same average position as your website in Google and my site is 1 year old. I have 38 posts and you would think that some would start to rank by now. It is really frustrating and disappointing but I think we need more posts.

Maybe once the ball starts rolling you will get more traffic and previously published posts will start to rank better...? I have no idea but I certainly hope so.

I have seen websites of people who stuff keywords in their content and have like 20 posts total who rank way better which I can't explain going by the training WA provides.

I guess keep on posting is the only option!

More posts and social media engagement helps. My site had an average position of 29 in just a month with less than 10 posts. The posts were however pillar ones with long articles.

Thanks for your reply - nice to know that I am not alone. I will continue writing posts and sharing on social media.

Hi - it looks as though your site is a year old, and realistically, 28 posts in a year is not enough.

You need to show Google that you are an authority on your subject and that typically happens around 40 to 50 posts.

There is no easy answer, you simply need to add more content on a regular basis to attract Google's attention. Ideally, you should be adding 2 or 3 posts per week.

Hello Diane, thank you for your realistic statement. As I am working full time and also being a granny and responsible for the household, cooking etc. it is very difficult for me to find the time for 1-2 posts a week. But I will try!
