Site Trust? How do I improve it?

I know site trust is important. But what do you do to improve site trust? I know the higher the trust the higher you are on google which is good for you. I want to get my pages on the top 3 pages.

Yeah yeah! I know I have to build a quality site with plenty of interactions. And by hook or by crook I will. However, my site trust is stuck at 10% while nearly everything else is near 100%.

Now, I heard form a number of people on WA that the site trust will improve by 10% on a monthly basis. Really? I am not too sure about that. I have been increasing and improving my content and quality everyday and am still doing so and yet there has been no movement, and I am coming to my second month. Even if it increased by 5% from all the hard work I am doing that would be pleasing as it indicates I am moving in the right direction. But cor blimey! I am still on 10%!!!

Am I doing something wrong? I know my pages and posts probably have some grammar and possible spelling errors. But that is only because I am writing fast. I will be going over everything and correcting errors soon. But, nevertheless, does that have an effect? I know I have a number of unfinished pages and posts, but I also have quite a number of posts and pages that are at least more or less complete. Is it that?

What is going on? Everyday I check my site health and everything is on the up except for 2 things. One is the site health, the other is another story but I am certain that will soon be resolved anyway. But the site health? This is really puzzling me. But it is a puzzle I will crack. What do I do? Hmmmmm!!!..........

I have the same question. Almost 2 months into my website, my Site Trust is still at 0. I have no idea what I can do to change it but the advice I got so far is to keep building the content. I guess that's what I will do and hopefully, it improves.

Did it improve?
Mine is fixed at ZERO, will love to hear what happened to you.

hi sherazi.

site trust did improve. it is currently on 50%. within the next week it should be 60%.
As some colleagues have said. site trust improves over time. it improves by 10% on a monthly basis. the date of the month it improves on depends on the day you were indexed (if i remember right). although site trust depends on how long you have been indexed and improves on a monthly basis, just make sure you are adding quality content.

hope that helps.

There is nothing one can do to really improve Site Trust in one go. It comes from continued expansion and progress of your site. The more people you are engaging can really help with this...

your reply is much appreciated. thank you. i will bear that in mind going forward

Site trust builds as your site matures with time, just keep adding good content and it will come

thank you. i will keep going and hopefully the site trust will increase. correct me if i am wrong but i believe google and WA do not have direct interaction, but nevertheless, does your site trust percent give you an indication of where you are in google rating?

in terms of google and WA no they do not however Kyle knows how long it takes google to start seeing you more, and what we add here in the way of blogs, training and comments get seen by google so it all helps your site trust will keep improving

well i guess ill keep chugging along. thank you.

that is the best way Arif have a good week

i understand what you mean, it makes you feel like your going in the right direction when site health goes up, but ill tell you something. I created my first website, but then decided to go to affiliate bootcamp and just forgot about my first site, i checked my stats on that un touched website, and everything is 0% except site health, it is 40%, so it goes to show that it just time that matters

thanks for the confirmation. i guess i am eager to get everything top notch.

Don't worry about it. It takes time to go up. Blog as much you can Google loves new content.

thank you for your comment. i will keep going.

It goes up automatically by 10% on a monthly basis. It is not related to the actual quality of your site. It's based on site age, which is a big indicator in Google's eyes of trust (combined with good content).

Others love to say otherwise, but I have yet to see a single shred of actual evidence to the contrary. The SiteHealth score on here is not seen by Google. WA doesn't collaborate with Google to determine what a quality site is. They are simply trying to give you a tool you can use to judge for yourself how far along you are. Obviously, the higher your sitehealth scores the better, because it means you're doing the things you're supposed to be doing, but it is not actually seen by Google, nor does WA pull that information directly from Google themselves.

Hope this helps!

Commenting because I had the same question. Thank you!

Glad I could help :)

thank you for that. do you know how much it goes up by? is it a fixed amount?

It goes up 10% every month. It's a fixed amount. I believe it starts going up from the time you are indexed, but I'm not certain of this, it may just go up from the day the site is created. Either way, yes, 10% every month :)

no problemo. i hope the post generates the answer we are looking for. I am confident it will as this community is top class.

What else did you want to know? Or were you replying to Gabrielle?

hmmm. ok. i joined on 02/02/16. so its 0%. 02/03/16 should be 10%. 02/04/16 should be 20% then. but its not. thats why i'm questioning. Does it increase immediately on the day or are there other factors involved? do you know? my indexing may have been a couple of weeks after 02/02/16. maybe i should wait a couple of weeks later? does the site trust affect where you are in google search?

I can't confirm whether or not it starts going up after being indexed, but I believe so. I do know that my site trust doesn't go up on the 22nd of every month, even though thats when my site first started. It goes up a few weeks after, which is when I wax indexed. So I have to assume so.

thank you for the information. it certainly makes sense what you're saying. i am hoping to see an increase on my second month of index.

my index was after a coupe of weeks of joining so. for that reason i still have time. thanks.
