Yea First Amazon Commission About Time
So after all these years I finally came through with a commission from Amazon.
A whole .05 Cents.
Now yes .05 Cents (La di da) it might seem hardly anything to write or celebrate about but you need to look at this at another perspective rather than (What only .05 Cents?)
So you can look at this is a negative way and slump and say .05 cents big deal or you can be positive and look at it another way as shown below.
YOUR CHOICE
Break it down and look at it a different way
1)
As you can see from the image above there was only two clicks for this item.
As a result a 50% conversion which resulted in one sale.
The Item purchased was under $1. that is why the .05 Cent commission.
That is the first breakdown a 50% conversion resulting in a sale from only two clicks.

This sale proves to me that I had SUCCESSFULLY presented the link from Amazon correctly. Now I can confirm that it works (which at times I had doubted especially after seeing many other members gaining a much higher commission.

For those who have joined Amazon Affiliate in the US for example but are living in another country this also confirms that you will get the sale. I live in Australia and joined the US Amazon site when I joined WA so yes it does work. I have seen in the post questions from some members who live in another country and wondered if they will still get commission from the US site.

The item purchase was from an old Post I created when I first started back in 2014 since then I had not touched the post nor amended or re-indexed it with the search engines. It just sat there as if part of the furniture.
That showed me that even an old post can still provide an opportunity for a visitor who may be interested in that particular product or service and then take action in purchasing the product. (Does the word choosing a Niche ring a bell for any one?)
Now imagine should you decide to revamp up the post make some changes maybe adding some more content or images and then get it re-indexed with the search engines. That has helped to life up some of my other old post in the rankings so I might just look into this post and see if I can improve on it further.
So if you look at it that way yes a success.
Considering I have been rejected by Amazon 3 times since I started due to not making any sales and in between then was wondering if I should still keep trying.
I haven't focused that much at all with Amazon so imagine when you focus properly that .05 cents could have been a lot more.
So now regardless of the amount received gives my an added incentive to put some actual effort with Amazon as well as other affiliate sites I am with which have earn't me more money than this.

So why not apply Wayne;s quote to some of your Old posts and even look at some of your recent ones.
One great way is to use Jaaxy and see which of your posts are ranking as high as you would like and use them as a starting point.
It is also Ironic that the item purchased as you can see in the image was "How to become a Millionaire" Guess this .05 cents is the starting point to the title.

Same here even when the temp has gone done to around the low 30's the humidity is the killer here. Had about 15 minutes of rain over the last 3 weeks.
Yea never felt the need to live in Melb love to visit the state but not to live just can't get comfortable for some reason. Hopefully you will get a reprieve soon.

As for the perspective I believe in staying positive and accepting from the Universe what is for your greatest good.
Not to mention the fact that creating a post and attaching links correctly will help as well. We still have to put some effort.
Guess the other choice is just to slump the shoulders and finally give in.
I know which choice I will be taking always.

Although I have made some sales within WA other places I am affiliated with this was a breath of fresh air as I was contemplating of giving Amazon away and not bother with them.
Glad I gave it a second thought now on to bigger and better things not just with Amazon but other adventures online.

Yes as I stated above you can look at it in a negative way and cringe, Whinge about the amount or you can take the positive aspects as well as thanking the Universe and be grateful for it.
The main part now is to just keep moving forward and work on achieving more along the way.

Thanks Brian for the confirmation, that yes how much is made is not always the main factor but the fact that being here and applying the training and the rest available to us here in Wealthy Affiliate does and shows you can get results and it will bring in the monetary rewards.
As we have seen in the past many have achieved more than their expectations but you still need to put in the effort.
