Of course, you originally came to Wealthy Affiliate to learn how to make money online. Let's not deny that but there is a deeper purpose you are here, one you may not have given much thought to or even realized.

Take a moment to yourself to think about what are you here as an Affiliate Marketer, before you continue to read on.

The majority of members here already have learned and so will any newbies that you as a website owner (your own business online) is that you are not here to sell but to help.

Now, this may sound contradictory to some with what I just stated in the first line "we came here to learn how to make money."

Affiliate Program Within Wealthy Affiliate.

Yes, they have their affiliate program which you automatically qualify as a member even a free starter member can earn online if you wish to be part of the great opportunities to earn some extra income.

For those not sure of the commission structure here it is below note the commission here is much greater than the majority of commissions you will get elsewhere.

Only digital products may offer more, but going with that, many are not as genuine as they sound.

You are not forced or required to promote Wealthy Affialtie if you don't want to.

Wealthy Affiliate is here to help you learn how to grow a business online and this is just one way that you can earn.

Unlike some negative reviews mostly from former members who only came here to spy under pretenses and call this a scam and say they force their members to promote WA only.

That is untrue, you have a choice of what you want to do with your website, and Wealthy Affiliate through the many forms of training can help you get there.

There are multitudes of ways to earn online and you are not restricted to just one.

That is why you get training, which covers so many areas to for you learn and gain valuable knowledge.

Click Promote at the top of the menu and there are many other affiliate programs you can join which have nothing to do with Wealthy Affiliate itself yet they show you ways to promote such programs by teaching you how to build a website.

So how can such negative reviews state you are forced to promote Wealthy Affiliate yet Wealthy Affiliate gives you so many opportunities to earn elsewhere should you wish to do so.

Can you see how they easily twist it to make it sound negative and yet they promote their program along the way or one they are heavily involved with as an affiliate themselves?

They are so hypercritical in doing so.

You don't have to promote Wealthy Affiliate and no one is forcing you to do so which is what some failures and other competitors try to make it sound like in their reviews on WA.

Yet at the same time, they continue to promote their shonky ways and call WA a scam.

That is not you nor the intention that Wealthy Affiliate teaches.

Selling VS Helping

But there is a huge difference between learning how to Make Money Online and selling to make money online.

So let's see where you are at and if you will be changing your mind later.

Selling

The first part of knowing is that as an affiliate of whatever program you are part of, is that you are not the salesperson.

As you know there are too many online who just want to sell, sell, sell and then some more with the upsells just to dig their knives in deeper with a twist.

Most often you won't find out until you realize you just got ripped off and your hard-earned money got taken away from these so-called gurus.

Sure if you want to take that path and just sell without helping that is your choice but don't expect your business to last long as you will be destined to fail.

If you learn the right way that Wealthy Affiliate teaches and apply what is taught you will then realize that is not how to be successful online and to keep your business going for many years to come you will do the right thing and help your readers first.

The main reason why they are so successful for all these years and will continue to be successful moving forward is they are offering you value.

Very importantly they are helping you to become a successful entrepreneur in whatever niche you so desire.

Your role as an affiliate is to help give your readers value (like Wealthy Affiliate) who come to your website by producing content that is informative, helpful, and beneficial for that particular reader.

Answer the questions they are seeking (this is also part of the research you would be doing before you begin writing content)

You write as if talking to a friend and that one specific friend searching for answers to their question, and needs.

You give your spin not just the spec already given on what there is out there (e.g. product reviews) and let them know what you have learned from what such and such program offers.

You let them know all about what it is who is involved, what does the program do? and if it states otherwise let your readers know your findings.

Give them the pros and cons of the product,

Then toward the end give them your final thoughts and if you have something else to offer let them know and also ask for any further comments should they wish to communicate with you.

Just don't sell instead, give value, inform with honesty and give options for their sake.

This is why as a Wealthy Affiliate member you get to learn all this and so much more depending on the membership you have chosen yourself.

Who are you really as an affiliate?

As an affiliate your play many roles.

Yes, if you have purchased your domain, You are the Founder and CEO of your own online website business. YOU ARE THE BOSS.

One that you will continue to grow whether you want to gain early retirement for that JOB (9-5 job) or be able to supplement your lifestyle to be happy and comfortable despite the fear of having to continue to work into your 80s when you should be living and enjoying life instead.

But your role doesn't stop there, you are the content creator, you are the researcher, you are a guide, you are the helper and you are the support that your reader needs for their life with what they seek.

Very Importantly

Be the reason to make this world a better place because you matter and care about your new friends who visit your website.

You are building a better place in what you do, say, share or offer according to YOUR Niche you have chosen.

Make the difference and the rewards you originally thought you were seeking will find you.

Don't be that sleazy salesperson and give dishonest and false lies just to hook them in.

Then once you do take their money and run into the sunset only to reappear under a new product offering the same rubbish with higher prices and false hopes.

If you do then you don't deserve to become an affiliate regardless of where or who it is with.

However, if you learn how to be the helper along with the many roles it takes to be successful and yes there is work involved but if you enjoy what you do then it isn't classed as work, it is a passion your love to share with the world outside of the inner peace you developed.

So the final thoughts and options are with you.
