With nearly every one who joins writing some form or other WA review, aren't we just proliferating Google with hundreds of reviews saying almost the same thing?

<

Yep. Something I've mentioned before. When everyone does exactly the same thing - using the same templated review - then you'll never get ranked. There are literally thousands of sites doing thing the same way and only room for 10 on the 1st page of any search result.

You need to find a way to differentiate yourself from the crowd. Don't just do a review site where you say WA is great and everyone else is crap - especially if you have no real knowledge of what the other programs are selling.

the 'make money online niche' is very competitive. You have to be different and stand out.

My thoughts are that no matter what is at stake competition is in our blood. We are human animals and as such we exhibit certain character traits not found in other animals. One of those is our competitive nature. I for one am very competitive but I can stand losing.

Yes, almost any idea you can think of or have thought of, there's a very good chance of someone already 'milking' it in the internet. I too am willing to share some of the market share in my niches :)

Well, my short answer would be "no, we are not competing against each other". Let me elaborate.

If you make a little kW research, you will find that the kW "wealthy affiliate review" has competition on 428, and it is a very tough one! Very big and experienced WA member there, who has great established sites, so, pretty hard to play in that league at the beginning of your journey there.

Just to put into perspective if you do the same research of "iphone comparison" you will get a similar 394 competition, so I would say that that relatively speaking competition for WA reviews is very tough but similar to other highly popular products out there.

But, my point is, that I believe that the right strategy to promote WA and get referals, it is not to target kws like "wealthy affiliate review" or something like that, and hope for a visitor throught that google search.
I believe that the best strategy is to build up the sales funnel, and start reviewing some other products (filled with low hanging fruits keywords) and from that reviews, you lead your visitors to your WA review. Does it make sense?

There are thousdands of products out there, website hosting, content creation techniques, you name it!! And all that stuff can be perfectly used to leverage your WA review.

I'm just starting with my Bootcamp Training and that will be my strategy, of course, I have my WA review in place, but my goal is not to get people directly to it, but instead from other content whtin my site.

So, bottom line, you can get people to WA by reviewing other products that are not WA, and there, I believe that the ocean is so big, that I would risk saying that competition is very very low.

Hope It makes sense!

Thank you for that elaborate and clear explanation. I was thinking in a similar vein as well. I have a dedicated online business and review site but I also have another site that leads them to it so direct searching for my site would be nearly impossible but if I can stand out in my other niche areas, the chances of referring someone is significantly increased. I have a few referrals now and I don't even know how they found that link but somehow it did.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

There are thousands of scams out there. Hundreds of new ones created every month.

This means that even if you are doing the same as someone else. There's a good chance you aren't writing about the same scam.

With that being said scams aren't the only thing you can talk about.

Yes, my wa site does talk about scams, but I also talk about SEO and content marketing and social media as well.

There are tons of ways you can promote your wa site.

Most think that you should do scam reviews and part of the reason scam reviews are good is because they rank easily, but it's not the only option.

You can do:

Scams
SEO
Content marketing
Social media marketing
Reviews about different hosting services
Work at home mom's
Work at home dad's
Unemployment
Make money online during college
All about wordpress and suggest WA to get started
Online education - WA is cheaper than a traditional school
Making cash after retirement
Some people just want to blog and not so much make money..do something with that.
And the list goes on....

There are plenty of different small n9ches you can do to promote WA. You just have to get creative, plus since most people fail as long as you out last others (give it a year) then you will naturally beat out most people on here even if it's the same type of website.

On top of that you don't actually ha e to promote WA. It's just a great option if you're not sure what to talk about. I have to websites now. First Wa, and most recently a website about Uber.

Uber I expect to make good money alot faster than my WA site but in a year or two I expect to make a full time income strictly from my WA site. Hope that helps
Best regards,
Brandon

Great list Brandon and thank you for giving excellent ideas and advice. I knew that WA reviews alone will not get me traffic which is why I've set up 3 websites supporting the one WA specific one. All internal links relating to online business, marketing, SEO etc. link to a WA review. I've already done some of the things you've listed and will work to produce more relevant in my niche sites. :)

I appreciate your informational response.

So, roughly how many views/traffic to convert it to substantial earnings?? From anyone's experience?

Google Adsense pays per click - not views or traffic. I can get 10 visitors to my site who all click on my ad - and I get paid whereas someone can get 1000 visitor where only 1 person clicks their ad. I will obviously get paid more than the other person with 1000 visitors.

Thanks for the clarification. So views are not at all counted. It's hard nowadays with AdBlocker on everyone's browser :(
