I've hit the 30-day wall.!

I received a message from Nathaniell the other day, congratulating me for making the 30-day mark, and he sent me some videos to watch about hitting the wall, and how to keep going, and while I can't find the exact videos, you can find @boomergp08's genius recommendations and suggestions here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/boomergp08/training
I was concerned that some of the videos were made a few years back, and Nathaniell said something very interesting, which is that we all get caught up worrying about algorithms to the extent that we lose sight of our goals, which is building an online business. While we are all concerned about rankings and finding ways to fake out google, I think it is important that we keep our eye on the prize -- which is our online business.
In the same way that a brick and mortar store takes - how long? - to see a profit, it has to be the same way here as well. As I write, I realize that I am trying to convince myself of this while sharing this all with you...!
So, to put this in perspective, how do we bypass all the necessary steps needed in building a store-front on main street? We can't...!
IF we are selling widgets, (pun intended), then we need to make sure that people know about our store. How? By doing local marketing and promotion -- local ads, signage, radio spots, joining local chambers of commerce, FB offers, and general outreach, interaction and engagement with the community. Becoming an expert in Widget technology and knowing who wants to buy those widgets. So that when someone wants to buy widgets or wants to know more about them, they will remember your Wonderful Widget store.
Same thing here -- we are building a presence in a different space - so maybe the concept of outreach is the same, but the ways we have to achieve that outreach are a bit different, because of the structure of the internet and how it functions.
I guess my point is that we - or I - have to keep in mind that these things take time, and those of us with little or no patience MUST keep going. I am already seeing rankings on page 2 and 3 for a couple of my posts, so that gives me hope that maybe this thing really works.

Just as you say, the principles that made business work for the last few thousand years are the same, we're just applying them in the net world. And also as you point out, the old ways still work - personal interaction, business cards, visible local presence - so that when a prospect needs to push that button, our name will be remembered. Well I do find myself slacking. It feels like a current pulling me in other directions it's the same way when you're trying to replace A bad habit with a good one. The bad habit has the power of forward motion which has to be stifled while using enthusiasm and intent to gain momentum with the good habit. Ours is success and well being.
Teach us, Paul, how to jump that wall don't penalize us. This is the good thing of having people ahead of us to history will not repeat itself. Am I right?
well you will hit the 3 month wall and then the 6 months wall as we all do - best me too after 18 months but you know there is always a way to jump that wall!!!
