In doing lesson 5, I see in my website wordpress admin that the URL is not displayed in general settings. How does it get added?
Hi and thanks - it seems my explanation was inadequate. I am referring to the page under Rubix Site Manager, general settings - in this page Kyle shows the 2 URL fields and warns about not touching them. When I open my website in this page I have no URL fields displayed. Hence my question.

Im not sure I understand...where do you want your URL to display?
When you write a page or a post you domain is automatically added and then your title becomes your slug (and altogether becomes your permalink)
i.e.
mydomain.com
Post title - this is the slug
would generate a permalink and URL of mydomain.com/this-is-the-slug

People follow people who they choose to follow. This could be for any number of reasons. Maybe they like something you've said, maybe they want to help you out.
Whatever the reason(s) the benefit is that when you write a post or comment these folks will be alerted (if they have the function on) and can see your work.
Other than that I am not aware of any benefits unless your into bragging about the amount of followers which some folks are and that's OK too.

Well the more followers you have in your network, the more help you're more likely to get when you need it. Plus you can find other people to collaborate with if they're in the same niche as you. That goes for any social network really, the more followers/subscribers you have, the more likely it is that you will be successful.
