Hi Alicia, you probably have your answers by now but incase you have not: Selling other peoples products is called affiliate marketing and WA sets out to learn us how that is done You will find a link on the left side of your WA site that takes you to the boot camp where you can start promoting the WA program and get paid for doing so. Never will laugh Alicia. I know what it is like to be overwhelmed and confused, but take it a step at a time. I try to learn something at WA everyday, even if it is to learn just one thing or to write one paragraph. Little steps added together add up over time.

Some will require you to have a website so make sure you read through the terms.

Also, don't overlook the affiliate program here at WA. If someone you refer signs up as a premium member and stays with it, you get a recurring commission.

Another way to go about it is to do a Google search on whatever niche you are looking to do. So if I was going to do fishing I could type:
fishing +affiliate program

One suggestion, in programs on LinkShare and Commission Junction (cj.com), it's better not to sign up with individual companies within these programs until you are ready to promote them. People make the mistake of signing up for hundreds at a time and then they get dropped due to inactivity.

There's no ignorance in not knowing, only in not being willing to learn. :-) How do you become an affiliate? Let's say it is not a one step process, but the one step that is important for you now would seem to be finding out what niche you want to learn and to work in because there is some of that to do. You can build your own blog, and you can find out if you really like the niche a lot. Eventually you will find someone or some product that you would want to promote. Then you affiliate with that product or company and you begin to promote (sell) that product to those people whom got to know and knew you through your blog and the articles or videos that you created.
Then the money comes, and you do more of the same and more of the same, like diapers. That is very broad brush stroke of steps to being an affiliate marketer.
And please read each comment people respond with. There are thousand of students in Wealthy Affiliate University WAU, and they all want to help.
Keep showing that beautiful face and your willingness to learn and give yourself some time to put it together. Bet you're a better mom now than you were in the beginning. It will be the same here, and I hope you love it as much.

This is one place, that I found, besides Amazon that has where you can sign up a lot of affiliates: www.linkshare.com Sign up with them. Look at my examples of what I have on my website, maybe it's a little overdone, but nonetheless, here it is:

On my computer site, there's WA, Amazon, walmart, rakuten, famous footwear, naturalizer---things that are high quality, and low price items for people to shop for back to school items.---Granted it comes up on google as Waterford School Supplies--but I'm #3!

Choose like 20 of your favorite vendors. Chances are, several will not accept you for whatever reason--happens about 20-30% of the time for me.

You'll get the html code under links.

copy that code, the one you like, and paste it to one of your pages.

VIola'. Test it to see if will come up--may take 30 minutes for it to appear.

And Rich's ideas below looks good, too. May explain better than myself.
