Ok, so it's probably not a big deal .... Or is it? I noticed my rank number here at WA getting higher!! (Or lower depending on how you put it) I was at 244 and now I am at 249,
Seems the more social you are, the lower your number. I only figured it out by looking at Kyles number. Since he is #1 and the most active I suppose that is what to aim for.But then I wonder if I want to be interactive or active on my website. Does take a bit of time away from actual study time. I did notice that being involved means reading a lot of posts and leaving your 2 cents worth. Some of these posts have been quite informative.
you are correct about the informative part, i have learned a few things just by reading the posts...
I read Carson's thread about ranking but I am still not sure what it's purpose is to be honest. It isn't something I have considered to be very important at this stage, i.e. it isn't going to do anything to increase my income and posting a lot does use up valuable website-building time. I guess it is about getting the balance right.
No problem! But unless somebody tells us otherwise I personally would not send too much time worrying about your WA ranking.
Maybe this blog by Carson will clear it up for you! Best of Wishes to You!

Why is my rank changing at WA??

I think it's important to focus on learning all the skills needed in IM and building the website.
At the same time it's good that there are active members that are contributing whit useful information and helping new members out.
That adds to the value of this community and it is one of the main reasons it is so great!
I would say be first of value to yourself and learn all you need to know.
And then the more you are succeeding the more you will be of value to others as well :)

Not me for sure, but there is talent here and a lot who will respond to a cry for help from a cute little damsel in distress. Count on it. ;-)
