Is it allowed to feel blue while trying to make it online?
I am not really depressed kind of person, but this affiliate marketing does get on my nerves from time to time.
Does following happen to you:
You do your best to write a fantastic post and then nothing.
You pay somebody else to write an excellent post for you and then nothing.
You pay for FB advertising and nothing.
You do PPC and nothing.
If I were happy about the above, it would strange!
Of course, this is not exclusive for affiliate marketing, and it happens in any field, but somehow I never read posts about failures only about successes.
One positive thought for the end. If I am the only one feeling blue today, our affiliate world is a very happy place.

Your not alone. I write "happy" post to try to boost my spirits. I try not to focus on the negative because I know I will have success soon, just when soon is I'm not sure. I know it is just around the corner, which corner is uncertain but I know it is there. I just keep on keeping on. Everyone else has had success so I know I will too!!

"But remember, you are building a business here. You get OUT of your business what you put into it. Ask any successful person what the fundamental reason why they are successful and others are not and they will usually say one of two things. Hard Work or Focus."
So, don't be blue, just keep on keeping on and the results will come. Persistence will prevail. Just keep tweaking things till you find what works. If something does not work evaluate what you did and see if you can do it better, or abandon that technique and try something new. But, give things enough time to either work or not work.
I have not invested in any paid advertising of any kind, just SEO and social media, and I have been able to get attention to my niche. But it took time.
I think people don't talk about failures here in WA because they don't consider them as such. They just look at them as learning opportunities, and once they have learned their way into successes, then they share.
I hope this all helps!
True; And if were impossible, nobody would be doing it.
You just gotta push through. Keep smiling and keep trying.
The good news is that this can be a very difficult work choice. I say good news because if it was easy, then everyone would do it. It takes perseverance and that is something lost out there.
Amazon and the likes pay commissions because they know it isn't some easy thing. It takes time to make money.
Hang in there. I find that I can't judge my success by dollars right now. I watch things like the number of keywords I have in the top 100. That goes up almost every day for me so I know I am making progress. I focus on the ones in the top 20, but the others slowly rise and make it there eventually.
Stay strong. Stay focused.
AlexMi, remember most people on like to share their successes publicly. You're hardly alone. I'm sure that their are a lot of people failing initially. Working the process, as they say, will hopefully bring the success. Good luck to us all.
It's very common for many people learning and beginning to work online to be unsatisfied with the results. Just have to keep up your research, content creation and stay active in your online journey to build a website that people want to go to, website that helps people or have something of value to offer people.
It's a marathon not a sprint, takes a lot of patience. Also requires some experimenting and trial and error sort of stuff to find unique and original ways to find your own success as well.
Everyone has bad days, just can't quit because nobody is successful by quitting and also if you do the research you will find that most affiliate marketers/internet marketers or people wanting to earn money online that fail it's because they quit too easily.
I'm sure you're not the only one feeling blue, but I'll leave you with this tidbit:
"One never learns from success. If you're succeeding, you already know how to accomplish the goal. Failure, on the other hand, is life's greatest teacher. If we do not fail, we do not learn."
