If ou are in your dashboard you can preview your site at the topeft hand corner of your dashboard, or fire up a new browser window and type your url in there and see if your site comes up. It may be that google hasn't found it yet, in which case you will have to go to google webmaster tools and render and fetch. There is some good training on how to do it.
Using a new Windows or tab is helpful. It gives me clarity on the page I am working on. Thanks for the directions.

specifically building a website video
This is a good question... as i think a written transcript can sometimes sink in better than listening and watching. Actually reading something helps me absorb it better sometimes..
I have to admit I have not come across any .. but i will do some digging now and ask around.

Thanks. I was looking for more of a transcript of a video. Found a helpful video to build a website in 30 seconds, but the video was 17 minutes long.
Looking for a transcipt, like -

Are there written transcripts of videos?
specifically building a website video
This is a good question... as i think a written transcript can sometimes sink in better than listening and watching. Actually reading something helps me absorb it better sometimes..
